Re-Modelling Btech – JAIN (Deemed-To-Be University) Announces New Program In Artificial Intelligence & Data Engineering
April 21, 2022: JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) has started a new Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering in collaboration with Futurense Technologies. This course will focus on giving students a new approach to learn through an experiential teaching model!
Every medical institution in the country has an on-campus hospital to provide students with hands-on experience, exposure to the profession, and close observation to help them study more effectively. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) will also feature Futurense Technologies on campus for the first time in India, providing students with a guaranteed opportunity to obtain real-time work experience while completing their degree in Artificial Intelligence & Data Engineering.
Students will benefit from the collaboration with Futurense Technologies because they will be able to break free from the work cycle of needing the necessary experience for the right job and vice versa. Students will be offered various paid internships in the respective field. Eligible students will also be guaranteed a job placement based on their achievement during the four years.

Ministry Of Youth Affairs & Sports Teams Visit The JAIN Global Campus To Overview The Khelo India University Games ’22 Preparations
March 17, 2022: Last week, a team from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports visited JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) and JAIN Sports School to assess the preparations for the Khelo India University Games (KIUG) 2022, which will take place on March 5, 2022. In the presence of Rohit Bhardwaj, Secretary- SAI, a team led by Smt. Sujata Chaturvedi, IAS, Hon'ble Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and another team led by Amar Jyothi, Director- SAI & chairperson- GTCC & Dr Baljit Singh Sekhon, Jt. Secretary- YA&S, AIU & Co-Chair
Dr Shalini Rajneesh, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Govt. of Karnataka, Dr HN Gopala Krishna, IAS, Commissioner, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Radhika Shreeman, Executive Director, SAI, and Ritu A Pathik, Regional Director, SAI, Bengaluru, and others accompanied the Hon'ble Secretary, Government of India. Dr Chenraj Roychand, Chancellor, JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), and the JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) team welcomed the authorities and provided full updates on the ground preparations for the impending KIUG.
The hour-long discussions focused on the grounds' and equipment's preparedness, as well as a special session with competition management to discuss the participants, number of games, live telecasts, age cut-offs, and any other issues they faced. A thorough discussion of the participants' local transportation, the state government's mandate for a Green-Corridor, and other matters were also on the programme. Other subjects considered at length included sports stadium amenities, inaugural event equipment, invitations to the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India and other dignitaries, event flow, pros and disadvantages of the specified fields, following Covid 19 norms for the events, and so on.
Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was the visionary of KIUG, and he placed the foundation stone in 2018. The 2021 edition of the KIUG was a big success, since it was founded with the goal of encouraging Indian youngsters to take an interest in sports and identifying talent on college and university campuses. The KIUG 2022 will take place at the JAIN Global Campus, JAIN Sports School, Sri Kanteerava Stadium (Indoor & Outdoor), Hockey Stadium, and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Shooting Range starting on April 24th. About 16 games will be held on JAIN campuses out of the 20 sports nominated for the KIUG. Over 8500 competitors from 200 universities and higher are expected to compete in the tournament. The athletes competing in the Khelo India games must be at least 26 years old. Athletes born after 1997 will be considered eligible to compete in this sport. From April 24 to May 3, 2021, Doordarshan/DD Sports will broadcast this huge athletic event.
JAIN Online To Organise Mega Virtual Job Fair ‘Connect To Careers’ For Job Aspirants
March 10, 2022: On March 21, 2021, JAIN Online, the e-learning branch of JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), a NAAC A++ University according to the recently amended framework, will host a virtual job fair. The employment fair is projected to attract over one lakh individuals with UG and PG degrees in Commerce, Management, Sciences, Humanities, CS IT, Engineering & Technology, Healthcare, and Hospitality. ANZ Bank, Nippon Toyota, ICICI Prudential, ESAF Small Finance Bank, Muthoot Microfin, Malabar Gold, and Decathlon, to mention a few, have posted job openings on this site. Aside from them, the employment fair will feature popular companies such as Dunzo, Big Basket, Upgrad, Cultfit, and No Broker.
The job fair, dubbed ‘Connect to Vocations,’ is in keeping with JAIN Online's mission to assist students in choosing the proper careers by providing a perfect venue for them to land their dream employment. Recruiters from all around India will be able to contact with over one lakh people for various positions thanks to the virtual job fair. Recruiters will get access to candidate video resumes, candidate reaction dashboards, and the ability to perform online assessments, among other things, making the hiring process simple and efficient.

JAIN Launchpad’ Launches ‘RiseUPreneurs’
March 7, 2022: JAIN LAUNCHPAD (formerly known as JUiNCUBATOR) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) held the launch of ‘RiseUPreneurs’ on March 3, 2022, in collaboration with Chenraj Roychand Centre for Entrepreneurship (CRCE). Over 10,000 JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) students and faculty attended the virtual event.
The RiseUPreneurs programme will be done in two stages, with the goal of inspiring young brains to take initiative and work on themselves to become entrepreneurs. The first stage will encompass coaching from concept to business plan, with participants receiving a credential from JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) and JAIN LAUNCHPAD upon completion. Top participants will receive mentoring and prototype support, as well as incubation and seed cash support from JAIN LAUNCHPAD, as well as access to tech stack from its partners such as AWS, HubSpot, Zendesk, and others, in the second and final stage.

Hon’ble Minister Dr KC Narayana Gowda Visits JAIN Campuses To Witness Preparations For Khelo India University Games 2021
October 20, 2021: On Monday, October 18, Hon'ble Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Sericulture, Government of Karnataka, Dr KC Narayana Gowda, paid a visit to the JAIN Global campus and JAIN Sports School to see the ongoing preparations for the Khelo India University Games (KIUG), which will be held in Karnataka in March 2022. The official host of the second edition of KIUG is JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University).
“I'm truly happy to observe the activities and preparations proceeding at a rapid speed at JAIN campus for KIUG,” remarked Dr. KC Narayana Gowda, Hon'ble Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Sericulture, Government of Karnataka, during the session. “My office will provide all required assistance and collaboration to ensure the event's effective execution and completion. Khelo India University Games began in 2018 with the goal of identifying and developing emerging sports talent on college and university campuses to represent India in international sporting competitions such as the Olympics and National Games. In 2020, Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi established the foundation for KIUG. The debut of KIUG 2021 will take place in December of that year. The games will take place in JAIN Global Campus, JAIN Sports School, Sree Kanteerava Stadium (indoor and outdoor), Hockey Stadium, and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Shooting Range starting on March 5, 2022. 15 of the 19 sports that have been identified for KIUG will be held solely on JAIN campuses. Over 8500 people are expected to attend the event, including 4500 athletes from 200 or more universities. KIUG 2021 is set to be inaugurated by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister has been invited to the occasion by Karnataka's Chief Minister, Basavaraj Bommai.
