My Academic Journey at Jain University: Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science
It was one of the life-changing decisions for me to select a college and my love for Computer Science led me to Jain University. I chose Computer Science as my major in high school and very soon found out that it was more than just a subject for me. This was a field that matched my talent of combining creativity and problem-solving.
During the last year of my high school, I started researching about colleges that offered quality education in Computer Science, as I wanted some more time to know about this field. In that regard, I quickly considered choosing Jain University due to its reputation for offering student-centric and career-oriented education, specially in the program of BTech in Computer Science and Engineering.
How I Got Admission
It was during this time that I found the ‘Study in India (SII) scholarship’ offered by the Government of India. This college taught me the art of competing. I was forced to study for the Jain scholarship exam solely on my own with just a set schedule and the internet since I could not afford more tutoring. When I finally found out that I indeed got a 100% scholarship, I was so relieved as perseverance paid off; and I was going to begin my adventure at Jain University with a full scholarship.

Then my final project, an application for personal expense management incorporating note-taking capabilities. In the projects I have been engaged with, I have been improving my technical skills, particularly through practical experience in Web Development and Frameworks. There is an excellent faculty here that encourages us in areas of interest such as Cybersecurity and Embedded Systems. At the same time, they test our critical thinking in solving some very tough problems.
