Q:   Can I join Jain University without entrance exam?
A: 

No, admission to full-time UG and PG courses at Jain University is not possible. For admission of candidates in all the courses such as BBA, BCA, MCA, BTech, MBA, BSc, MA, etc., the university conducts Jain Entrance Test (JET). This is an online entrance test conducted by Jain University for the selection of deserving candidates. This exam is valid and mandatory to qualify for all the UG and PG courses. However, for courses such as MBA, M.Tech and BTech, candidates can apply via scores of other entrance exams, which are either valid at the state or national-level for the respective courses. These are JEE Main, COMEDK, GATE, CAT, XAT, MAT, etc.

Q:   Does Jain University offer direct admissions?
A: 

Yes, Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) offers direct (lateral) admission to Engineering courses. The university's direct admission is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Admission to Lateral Entry is done entirely merit-based. There is no entrance exam required for the selection of candidates. Admissions are done based on the merit of candidates in the previous qualifying exam. In BTech Lateral Entry course, admission is given on the valid percentage of candidates acquired in a Diploma course. Once candidates fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and qualify the selection process, they are called for a counselling process. 

Q:   What is the cutoff for Jain University?
A: 

Jain University cutoff 2025 for MBA specialisations is based on XAT scores. The university offers MBA specialisations including, including Marketing, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation, Finance, Human Resource Management, Banking Finance and Allied Services, International Finance and Accounting, Marketing and Finance and more through CMS Business School, which is an affiliated college. 

Candidates aspiring for Jain University must have a valid score in XAT. As per Jain University cutoff for MBA, the overall cutoff in XAT was 50 Percentile for General category All India students.

It's not a direct answer. Salary depends on skills, experience, location, profile and company. Freshers earn 3 to 8 LPA. Experienced ones can earn upto 20 LPA. Average MCA salary being 7 to 10 LPA. Some highly demanded roles are Data Scientists, AI/ML professionals, Cloud computing, etc.
