College is quite good as the ROI is very good.

Placements: Around 70% of computer engineering students are placed. Top recruiters are Accenture, Zenon Analytics, and ZS Associates. Around 40% of students got internships, but it solely depends on the students. The top roles offered were related to consulting, full-stack development, and software development.

I'm satisfied with my college because of good faculty, facilities, and infrastructure.

Placements: Less percentage of placement because this is a theoretical subject. But some of the students were placed in my course. I haven’t placed anywhere, but where I work, they hire me because I studied in Jamia Millia Islamia. There is an increase in the possibility of getting in anywhere.

If you can study by yourself, then it's the best place for you.

Placements: Placement here is not good. You can try it from outside campus. Asian Paints, Wipro, etc. come here for recruitment, but it takes only about 3-4 students per branch. But in campus placement, there's a very low salary, and your position in the company will not be good.

Overall college is good but the infra is very poor. Seniors are also quite helpful.

Placements: Placements are quite good, the average package for CSE is 11 LPA and for other branches is 8-9LPA, around 70% students gets placed, if we exclude the students who opt for higher studies then around 95% students are placed. The highest placement in 2023-2024 was around 59 LPA in Atlassian.

Academic life, placements, hostel, and mess are up to the mark, but the fests & events are not good.

Placements: The average package of the college is 10 LPA, with a placement percentage of about 45% in the electrical branch. Our seniors did internships in companies like Nvidia, Adobe, DLF, etc. Approximately 40% of seniors secured internships. Specifically, our branch is a little behind because most people switch fields nowadays.

Even being an A+++ University, Jamia Millia Islamia has its own defects.

Placements: As our course is mostly an academic course, they do not provide any placement guarantee. There are no campus placement drives usually conducted on campus. There are no particular companies, especially any commercials, which need us for their running other than any policy-research or political research-related centres for assisting their research work.

Poor hostel facilities, infrastructure, and unavailability of classrooms.

Placements: Only 6-7 students are normally getting placed every year, that too only in the field of organizational behavior as HR, etc. Placements in the counseling field are very rare and most students find work on their own efforts. Placement percentage could be 1-2%. Students have to find internships on their own and the department is not responsible for it.

Very beautiful campus and very friendly nature in the campus.

Placements: 30-40% of students are placed in our course. There is no such highest package. Indigo, Pawan Hans, and other airlines are recruiting companies. Our course offers aircraft maintenance engineer, technician, junior technician, and other roles in our course.

Epitome of beauty, but select your course wisely.

Placements: There are no placements in our course. The only plus point about this course is that there is no hectic schedule. Professors are cooperative, but when it comes to campus placement, it is at 0. You need to create a resume and try hard to get an internship or job on your own.

Dissatisfied because of the admin department, but the teachers are average, at least.

Placements: Placement is bad at Jamia Millia Islamia, even for B.Tech students. For my course, there is no placement at all, so you have to rely on yourself for a job. The placement situation is very disappointing, as I heard that the Jamia placement cell doesn't care about students; they just don't do anything.

College campus and other facilities are very good but faculty is not good.

Placements: Campus placement is very poor, only 6-7 students out of 70 students gets placed in which 1-2 students resigns in 1 month or less than that due to less salary, heavy workload and very low job roles. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, EXL, CLl technologies also visit. If you want placement then you can try outside campus and from outside the campus it will be very beneficial.

Best campus, bad infrastructure of Psychology department, and best faculties.

Placements: As I am a psychology student, placement in this course is not that active on my campus. But there is a placement cell with which we have affiliation. But the thing is, my seniors (the previous passed-out batch) have been admitted to different universities for M.Phil. and PhD.

I am very satisfied with this college.

Placements: There are 8 semesters in this course. There are 40 seats in every course. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Make My Trip and Chayoos. There are some posts for the students in which they can show their skills as a politician.

It is a good college that is very affordable and provides good opportunities.

Placements: From my batch, about 25% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA from ZS Associates for the consultation position and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA from Cognizant. That year, the placements were bad because of covid also. Generally, L&T, ZS Associates, Anglo-Eastern, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Schneider Electric, etc., were the top recruiters in our college.

The campus life is great. It provides good placements but faculty members are not good.

Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in our course which is about 8 students out of 40. The highest salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte and USI. Almost 15-30% of students get internships in different companies. The top roles offered are tax consultant and financial analyst.

Bioinformatics at JMI is truly recommended as it is the best course in a decent university.

Placements: There are no placements for bioinformatics students in healthcare, bioinformatics and biotech companies. They have to apply for IT companies that come for MCA students. Many internship opportunities are provided for all students in the whole department, not relevant to bioinformatics students only.

The review of Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia.

Placements: The college offers placement opportunities, but most of the students don't apply for placement drives. They go for independent litigation, and some of them even prepare for higher exams. We have fabulous faculty members who usually don't emphasise on placements. Even our seniors didn't go for the opportunities given to them. However, we have a comprehensive crowd who are worthy of having good placements. But our faculty coordinators aren't that good enough, and this is the reason why we aren't g...

There are poor placements. However, the quality of education is good.

Placements: Placements in Jamia Millia Islamia for BBS are very poor. Not even a single student got placed from our batch as well as from the senior batch. There is no such thing like placement cell in the department. Teachers never bother to invite any of the company to visit the college.

Nothing is perfect in our college, and it needs improvement.

Placements: The college provided the best placements for our seniors. Almost all seniors got placed. About 65% of students got placed. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Many companies, like TCS, Mahindra, etc., visited our campus this year for placements. There is a placement cell in our department, and it invites companies to our college. Placement cell gives a chance for students to get placed in good companies.

It is a good college, but it can be better.

Placements: There are no placements for the evening course as they assume that students of the evening course must have already been working. However, placements are available for the morning courses, and many students get placement offers.
