Good placement compared to other private colleges in NCR, but the faculty and campus are not good.

Placements: The placement is good compared to other private colleges in NCR. The placement is far better than IP colleges and UPTU colleges. Big companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Ola, Grofers, Infosys, SAP labs, Paytm, Cognizant, Barclays do visit the campus with the very good package. The highest package last year was 27 LPA offered by Amazon. If you study well and maintain a good CGPA, then you will be placed.

A short critic review of JIIT.

Placements: The placements are good but only if you are in the CSE branch or the IT branch. If you are thinking to get a job by taking ECE or biotechnology then forget it. Even if you are good at coding, you won't be allowed to sit in a number of companies if you are not a CSE student. Big companies like Amazon, SAP etc., and a number of startups come to the college for recruitment. The placement is 50% knowledge-based and 50% luck based but in a number of cases knowledge dominates.

The education here depends on how you take it.

Placements: The placements in the college are quite good considering the fact that it is a deemed university and not a government college. The highest placements go up to Rs. 23 LPA and the average/median placements go up to Rs. 3.5 LPA. The best part is that every single student of the college gets placed and a lot of them have more than 1 placement offers.

A good review of JIIT college.

Placements: The placements are very good at this college. The highest package is 44 LPA in adobe with two students and 27 lacs in Amazon. This college promises the best placements to your capability. This college has above ordinary placements. This college is awesome.

Bad curriculum and average infrastructure

Placements: Placements in JIIT are good. Almost everyone got placed by the end of their last year. Amazon hires 2-3 candidates every year. This year, 2 students are hired at a CTC of 27 LPA. Directi came for the placements this year. Last year, Ola hired 8 students at 11 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and poor course curriculum

Placements: The placement of the college is okay but not very good also. There are only a few good companies which visit the campus, while the rest all are mass recruiters. The mass recruiters offer a very low package. The college only focuses on getting all students placed, not on the quality of the jobs. Most of the placed students are dissatisfied.

Could not find a reason other than placements to justify my admission.

Placements: The placements of the college are pretty nice. Usually, a CGPA of 6 or above is required to be eligible to sit in the campus placements of each company that visits. In my year the companies such as Amazon, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, Kuliza, Sap Labs etc. visited the college for placements. Amazon gives the highest package every year and is the college's main centre of attraction. The placement statistics were good, and about 450 offers were presented to 400 students by the companies. Average placement, bad faculty, and very tough curriculum.

Placements: If you have 6 and above CGPA, you can sit for most of the companies. There are usually many companies here for placements like Infosys, Sony, Ericcson, etc. The placement is assured if you have a good coding background here, especially in c++ and java or dot net. Most of the seniors that I know of have already got into some company. There are 4-5 rounds that need to be qualified. Mass recruiters take most of the students if they are good in group discussion.

JIIT-128, Is it worth considering for admission?

Placements: Placements are not that good, but if you have got good grades, you can get a nice package. Major recruiters are Amazon and Deloitte. Amazon has given packages up to 25 lakhs, while the average package is around 4 lakhs, so if you have got good grades, there is no need to worry.

Poor placements in 2017. Faculty surely not a plus point

Placements: The placements of the college this time weren't as good as compared to the seniors. This year saw a drop in major companies coming for placements. Even companies like Amazon who used to take about 20-30 students took about 7-10. The highest package was about 22 lakhs per annum. The average package is 4-5 LPA. Most of the students are placed through mass recruiters. Although, mass recruiters this time weren't also keen and took only about 200-250 students. ...

Good infrastructure, but lack of extra curricular activities.

Placements: The placements in our college used to be very good but the rate is declining every year. Even the good coders are getting jobs in mass recruiters because of the college's incompetency and also the fact that the college does not support much extra curricular activities, which I believe plays a major role in personality development and hence, placements. The college needs to improve on the extra curricular department.

One of the best private engineering colleges in Delhi NCR, although lacks in quality teachers.

Placements: Placement this year wasn't up to the mark. The college saw a reduction in the number of companies that came to hire. Companies such as Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant came to recruit, but the number of students they hired this time is far less than the previous batches. The highest offer was given by Amazon at 22 lakhs per anum. The average salary varied from 3.5-4 lpa. Companies such as HCL and IBM offer internships. According to the test conducted, these companies take students for internships. Mos...

Bad and over qualified faculty, okay placements, decent coders and bad infrastructure.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch were very good with each one of them having 2-3 offers. Our placements were not so good but not very bad either. Highest offered was 27 LPA by Amazon and the average being 3-5-4 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, amazon etc. visited us. All kinds of roles were offered like that of a software developer and a marketing consultant. It was like, you name the profile and some company will definitely have it.

A decent private college. Apart from mass recruiters, big MNCs do pick the creamy layer.

Placements: The placements of this college are just like other private colleges. A majority of the students are recruited by the mass recruiters like Infosys. TCS etc. However, a few companies like Amazon, Zomato etc also come for the college placements and take the cream layer students. The maximum package of 23 LPA was offered to 7-8 students, and the average salary is 3-5 lakhs.

JIIT is a bad decision for Electronics and Communication students.

Placements: I am currently in the final year (8th semester) and the placements are still on. The placements started since when I was in 7th semester, approximately 40 small and big companies have already visited including Infosys and Cognizant (mass recruiters). But there is one thing I would like to mention, the placements for ECE is worst here. If anyone desires to join this college for B.Tech, do that only if you get the CSE or IT branch. I would like to mention that more than 80% ECE students are still ...

Infrastructure, course and food is great but the faculty are poor.

Placements: When I took the admissions here, the placements were fine but this year, the placements have taken a big hit. The college authorities keep telling us that the reason behind this is the recession in the IT industry. Most of the students are recruited by Infosys, Accenture and Cognizant, but the bright ones surely make it to Amazon, Kuliza or Delloite. The ratio of the normal to bright students here is 100:1.

Come only if you want placements.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, the situation is good when compared with the other colleges in the same tier level. For ECE, the placements will mostly be in mass recruiters like Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro. Some really good companies like Rhode and Schwarz also visited our campus. Wipro recruited for the telecom domain with a very lucrative offer. Ericsson also recruited for the telecom domain in mass proportions.

Placements: Placements vary from 150-170% in my branch. The lowest placement is 3.5 LPA and the highest package is 24 LPA. The placement cell is also really helpful with the preparations like interviews and GDs. You don’t have to worry about getting a job but.

It is an average college which has a huge scope to grow. They can not only improve in providing better campus life but also raising the average placement package by bringing better opportunities. Faculty on the other hand is on satisfactory level including some exceptionally good professors. All in all, I would still recommend it to others, as I believe it is better than thousands of campuses we have in India.

A good college...probably good for computer science and information technology....main focus on studies and also good focuses on coding! Good electives! But some teachers dont know how to teach students properly! Placements are good in comparison to other private colleges! Join this college if you want to learn something new and good!
