In 2022, the cutoff rank for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu, through APICET was 3795. JNTU Anantapur accepts EAMCET examination conducted by APSCHE. Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) an entrance examination conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. 

To be eligible for the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET course for the BTech course candidates must have Class 12 in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as optional subjects along with bridge course exam in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt, of AP/Telangana only. Further, the candidates must have completed 17 years of age by 31 December 2025

Jawaharlal Nehru University Anantpur is ranked 151st among engineering colleges in India by National Institional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023.  JNTUA offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and management. The eligibility criteria typically require a minimum of 45% in the 10+2 exams along with specific entrance exams such as Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or CBSE 12th+6 more.

In the academic year 2022-23, the average salary package offered to JNTUA students was Rs. 6 LPA and the highest salary package offered was Rs. 24 LPA. Top recruiters include- TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, Capgemini, Delloite, HCL Technologies, etc.

JNTUA is not a very expensive college. For B.Tech, tution fees is INR 25000 in the first year.
