I am happy for choosing Karunya because I was sure about the media technology course here.

Placements: I am a student of the 2018 batch of this college. The placement cell and industrial collaborations of the college worked well in offering students a good number of varied opportunities and off-campus selections. Students from the majority of all UG branches were not industry-competent enough. Moreover, considering my course media technology, there were maximum placements, and the reason can be traced back to students because of their skill development. Also, the college has in campus media house...

A good college with great infrastructure, but it has poor management and very bad placements.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. They mostly bring in marketing and sales companies for engineering students just to get students placed. Most of the companies offered BPO profiles. There was no proper management for placements. We got internships on our own, and most of the internships were unpaid.

I'm dissatisfied with academics but satisfied with hostel life and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in the college are good only for the computer science department, as 80% of the companies that visit Karunya are IT companies. Few of the companies visiting for placements are Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Sutherland and Infosys. Other departments like ECE, EEE, biotech, and mechanical did not get many core companies, so they ended up getting placed in IT companies. There are no placement opportunities for the civil department. In the year 2018, about 70% of the students were placed. ...

Overall, the college is good, and I would suggest students to join this college.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. The college still lags in bringing core companies to offer placements for our department. Still, we get 90% placements every year. Few major companies didn't visit the campus for our batch, but they appeared for our previous batches. Internships are still an issue in the college, as students don't get proper help to get an internship. Mostly, students have to get it on their own.

I am pleased to have studied in this college. The environment is good and every one is supportive.

Placements: Placement percentage in our college is about 80%. Core companies came to the college offering high packages of 12 lacs per annum. The placement cell conducts all placement activities on campus and also takes students to off-campus drives. Companies like Odessa, Tata Elxsi, Jasmine Infotech, Accenture, Infosys, NCT and others visited the campus for placements.

It is a perfect college for to learn discipline and good communication skills.

Placements: Karunya Institute of Technology achieved 80% placements. You can get placed if you have good subject knowledge. Many companies visit the college to recruit students with high packages. The faculty members also support and encourage the students in all aspects.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the strict rules.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Almost all the students got placed. The placement percentage is almost 100%, and the only thing is that the students must have to work hard to get placed in a company. Getting placed totally depends on a student's performance. The placement coordinator really helps the students to get placed in the companies.

A college with good environment and infrastructure, and the placements are satisfactory.

Placements: Around 70% of the students from our senior batch were placed, and the companies offered good salary packages ranging from 3 LPA-22 LPA. The college has a placement cell, and it is useful for the students from 3rd year. Many students were offered internships. Overall, the placements are good.

It's a great place to study because of its beautiful infrastructure and good quality education.

Placements: Every year, placements happen in huge numbers. Many multinational companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, HPE, Sutherland, Byju's, TCS, etc., visit the campus to recruit the students. Even pool campus interviews are also organised in the college. I got dual placements. The placement training courses are also very effective. The placement training starts two weeks prior to the regular classes. Professionals from various institutions conduct the placement training.

It's a good place to gain knowledge and learn, but there are no placements.

Placements: The companies offered only sales jobs for operations, marketing and logistics, and no core jobs were offered. We can get sales jobs in off-campus placements also. According to my experience, there are no proper placements in the college. They completely depend on KSM placement officer. He is not capable of getting good placements, and he does not care about the students. He simply does his work and doesn't interact with students, and this is the main drawback of a placement officer. A placement ...

The college needs some more good faculty members, and the college should reduce the rules.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. Companies like Amazon, Joho, and many other reputed companies visit and hire the students by offering high salary packages. Also, the students who are not getting high packages are getting small salary packages from other companies.

Placements: The placements were quite good. If you have a good knowledge of the subjects and a good academic score of above 7 CGPA, you have a great chance to be placed in multinational companies. Nearly 70 percent of the students of CS get placed every year. The average salary package is 3.5 lacs per annum. There are a lot of roles offered in Karunya for different academic groups. Lots of interesting internships were offered in Karunya. The stipends for interns range from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000. Totally,...

A general review about my college.

Placements: Placements in my college are pretty good. Right now I am pursuing B.Tech 2nd year. For the 2016-17 batch, the placements were 60 percent, and for 2017-18 also it was the same as last year. A lot of MNCs tied-up with our college. Karunya students were placed in well-reputed companies like Work, Infosys, TCS, etc.

A very calm place surrounded by mountains.

Placements: In Karunya, placements are good for students opting for computer Science department. Core jobs for other departments is really a question mark. It is really waste of time if you think there would be core placements for EEE, ECE, EIE, etc. Placements are offered by marketing and BPO companies.

Placements: Placements in core companies are rare because less than five core companies visit Karunya for placements. But many top IT companies such as Infosys, Capegemini and TCS do take placements in large numbers and the salary package is also good. Almost 35% of students get placed in these companies with an average salary of 3lakh rupees per annum. Placements: Sufficient placement opportunities with perfect career guidance are given. An avg of 70% placement is there every year. All core companies will be hiring students. So there is no worry for placement if u are passionate in your academics upto my knowledge an Average of 10 Lacs is the highest package and an avg of 3.5 Lacs per annum is seen every year for an average graded students.
