Satisfied and good in everything.
Placements: I am an LL.B. student at Kashmir University, which provides good quality education in every field. I was the 3rd topper there. They provide everything we need, and the university has 2,000 students. They offer a wide range of big and affordable courses. Top companies also recruit students from there.
Infrastructure: Kashmir University provides almost every facility, including well-equipped labs with everything we need. The canteen offers good quality food, and the university also has good medical facilities and offers many sports. The canteen's food quality is great.
Faculty: Kashmir University has good quality teaching, and the teachers are helpful, skilled, and experienced. The university provides curriculum-related activities and prepares students very well. There is a strong focus on quality, with teachers helping students in every aspect.
Other: In my course, I seek justice, so I chose it.

It is difficult to crack the exam, but the college is worth the money.
Placements: 2018 was the first year when law department enthusiastically managed to bring in the top law firms of the country like Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Singh and Associates besides many other big names for placements of LL.B and B.A. LL.B final year students in the varsity. Students while participating in the process were extremely happy for the efforts of the placement cell to make special arrangements and guiding in making CV and also to prepare for interviews. They also helped students to choose among the various options available.
Infrastructure: Currently, I am studying in the main campus of this university that is located in the heart of Srinagar city near the world famous Dal Lake. The campus is spread over 250 acres providing a great view of melodious green mountains. All facilities are available in the college. Wi-Fi facility is provided, but they charge a nominal amount of Rs. 300 per year. That's nothing compared to its network available all over the campus. Allama Iqbal library forms the common centric point of all students for its vast collection of titles. It is open 24/7. It is the largest library in our state. It has been just 3 months I am in the college, I may need at least 2-3 years to experience all the facilities provided. The best thing is that you can check it all on your own if you are interested. Games facilities are available.
Faculty: In the current batch of October 2018, our class has 65 students who are self-financed for the first shift. The faculty members are well versed and doctorate holders in their respective fields. Our course coordinator is also a PhD holder, but after all, the experience counts. The faculty members are helpful and kind enough to shower on us their mercy by providing valuable suggestions to compete in the national level exams and determination for higher standards in one's life.
Other: All the PG departments in this giant university function separately under the experienced heads so that every possible effort is taken to make the studies par with top institutions of the country. Every second day, some or the other department make arrangements for special events, and most of them are conducted at the national level. Besides scholarships provided by the state or centre government, the university manages its own Students Aid Corpus Fund for the welfare and sponsorship of the deserving students from lower income families.

Knowledgeable faculty, beautiful infrastructure, and natural environment, but limited placement.
Placements: According to the NIRF report, the median package ranges between 5 LPA and INR 8 LPA for 3-year UG, INR 7 LPA for 2-year PG, and INR 5 for integrated PG. The highest package for 2023 stood at INR 8 LPA. However, there is very limited scope for placement in the university.
Infrastructure: The University of Kashmir has the following facilities and infrastructure: Wi-Fi-enabled campus, classrooms with Wi-Fi-enabled LCD projectors, a central library and departmental libraries with a vast collection of books and magazines, an auditorium with a seating capacity of over 750 people, a fully equipped gym for students, and a CCTV-enabled campus for student safety. The hostel facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls. The food quality is average and comparable to other colleges, while the canteen food is good. A medical center with basic facilities is available, as well as a sports complex with an indoor area and a vast open field.
Faculty: The teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but some teachers lack experience and teaching skills, which can impact the learning process. The faculty is supportive and encourages students to ask questions and clarify doubts. The semester exams at Kashmir University have varying levels of difficulty, but overall, they are considered manageable. Some find them challenging, while others find them easy to pass. The pass percentage is typically around 36-40%.
Other: I am pursuing B.A. LL.B. from the University of Kashmir because I was interested in this course. I have a desire to develop critical thinking and analytical skills and a passion for advocacy. The things I wish would be better about the course are more practical exposure and internships, a focus on contemporary legal issues and trends, and opportunities for moot courts and legal aid clinics.

The infrastructure of the college is good.
Placements: The college is excellent especially for the students of our course. Our faculty members were qualified. We enjoyed a lot during our studies in the college. The environment in our college was very good. I felt very excited when I got admission in this college.
Infrastructure: There are thirteen buildings including three huts. Our department building is huge. There were two ATM's on the campus. The college also has a well-maintained canteen. The drainage system of our college was awesome. It was well-planned like that of Indus Valley drainage system.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are the best. The college offers many courses, for which a student who cleared 12th standard can apply. The courses like B.Sc, B.Com, B.A, LLB, and B.Tech, etc., are offered. The lecturers were very good, and we must listen to them. There are 11 faculty members.
Other: Teachers were very helpful and friendly. The transport facilities were available for the students who live in remote areas. There were 8000 members on the campus. Scholarship schemes were also available for the meritorious and poor students.

Other: The best thing that happened to me, so far. I loved and cherished the each and every moment I had spent there and often feels nostalgic about it. The top priority goes to education system and it’s good but not excellent. In-campus activities are average, don't expect you’re any kind of social and cultural development, it's really pathetic over there. Hostel life is awesome, as I heard from my friends, and hostel rooms as well as mess is very hygienic and clean. Well, you make a lot of friends, there is no doubt about that. Over all, the institution really pays you off.
