Q:   When will the CMAT result 2025 be released?

    A:

Students applying for the MBA course at CT Group must meet the eligibility criteria. The CMAT is the entrance examination for admission to management. The result of the CMAT 2025 shall be declared by NTA within one month from the date of the examination. The NTA never declares in advance the date of declaration of the result of the CMAT. After considering last year's trends and the schedule of the CMAT test, it has been found that the test is going to be conducted in the month of May, and results can declare in the month of June 2025 (tentative). In between the test for CMAT and the result declaration, NTA releases the official answer keys and their veracity over the objections raised by test takers. The result-cum-scorecard for CMAT 2025 will be downloadable from the official website of CMAT.

Placement Cell for MBA/PGDM at Kashmir University

Unfortunately, there is no placement cell for MBA/PGDM at Kashmir University. According to various reviews, students have to suffer on their own to find placements, as the university does not provide any assistance in this regard. Here are some key points that summarize the situation:

    * No Placement Cell: There is no dedicated placement cell to help students secure jobs after completing their MBA/PGDM program.
    * Students Look for Internships Alone: Students have to arrange their own internships, which can be challenging and may not offer stipends.
    * Limited Job Opportunities: The university does not have a history of placing its students in reputed organizations, and most students opt to pursue opportunities outside India.
    * Lack of Support: Teachers and administrators seem unhelpful in addressing the concerns of students regarding placement issues.

Overall, it appears that the university's lack of focus on placement services leaves students struggling to find employment opportunities after graduation.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and no industry exposure provided to the students.
Placements: I am still pursuing in this university. It does not provide any placements to the students now. Our department placed a whole batch in 2011 in Jammu and Kashmir Bank under the chairmanship of Haseeb Drabu and HOD of the department Professor Dr Nazir Ahmad Nazir. The salary offered to the students was Rs. 70,000 per month. The whole batch of students got placed as a banking assistant. The college does not provide internships.
Infrastructure: Each department is facilitated with Wi-Fi, labs classrooms, departmental library and departmental park. The campus is fledged with Allama Iqbal central library, a health centre, 2 sports stadiums and 3 parking areas. Labs and classrooms are well-furnished with projectors in each class. The food in the canteens is awesome. The college also has well-furnished hostel rooms. I didn't face any problem regarding infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful, but everyone is highly qualified with a minimum of PhD degree. They have high knowledge regarding their particular subject. The teaching quality is very good. They use PPT methods to teach. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. They provide only theoretical knowledge. The course curriculum was not very useful.

Dissatisfied because of placements, almost no extracurricular activities, no events.
Placements: Placements chances are very sleek and even if you get a placement, it will be in some non reputed companies and marketing jobs are sometimes as a placement option. 2018 batch saw no placement. So far as internship is concerned, you are made to do the internship via Rooman technologies which pay a monthly stipend of Rs1500 in Delhi. And the companies offered by Rooman technologies are not even reputed. The other option is that you go for an internship on your own.
Infrastructure: University has free wi-fi for students, classrooms vary from department to department. Some new departments have AC fitted and smart classrooms while other departments lack these facilities. Our department doesn't have AC, neither does it have that charm of being a management studies department.
Faculty: Teachers are top-notch however, the curriculum is old and outdated. Less practical more theoretical. Being an MBA' you should get a great exposure to the industry however for our batch the industry tour wasn't conducted. so kind of disappointment there.
Other: For getting a scholarship, you need to be extremely poor guy or you else government portal is an option. MBA department of Kashmir University is in its the worst phase.

Q:   Is Kashmir University good for MBA/PGDM?

    A:
    {Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}

Based on the reviews from current students and alumni, here's a summary of what they have to say:

    * Faculty: Professors are well-qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable in their subjects. They are helpful and willing to guide students.
    * Course Curriculum: Although outdated, the course curriculum provides a good foundation for students. Some students feel that it needs to be revised to make it more relevant to industry demands.
    * Placement: Placements are not guaranteed, and students often struggle to find jobs. Alumni feedback suggests that placements are mainly driven by individual effort rather than the university's placement cell.
    * Infrastructure: Facilities such as Wi-Fi, libraries, and classrooms are available, although some students mention that the condition of the hostels is subpar.
    * Campus Life: Campus life is vibrant, with regular events and fests organized by students. Sports facilities and gyms are available.
    * Specializations: Specialization options may vary depending on the stream, but students appreciate having multiple choices.
    * Teaching Quality: Teaching quality is satisfactory, with professors using innovative methods such as PowerPoint presentations.
    * Scholarships: Scholarships are available for deserving students.

In conclusion, while Kashmir University has its strengths, such as well-qualified faculty and decent infrastructure, it faces challenges in terms of outdated curriculum, limited placement opportunities, and inconsistent teaching quality. Students seeking an MBA or PGDM should weigh these factors carefully before making a decision.
