Infrastructure: As a current MBA student at Kerala Agricultural University, I can provide insights into the infrastructure and facilities available for our course and hostel. The university offers modern amenities to support academic excellence. The classrooms are equipped with audio-visual aids, facilitating interactive learning sessions. The library houses a vast collection of books, journals, and online resources, aiding research and study endeavors. The university provides Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus. Regarding hostel facilities, the university ensures a comfortable living environment for students. The hostel is well-maintained, with adequate facilities such as rooms, recreational areas, and laundry services. Placements need to be improved.
Placements: Placements were not up to the mark. Majority of the students got placed in banking firms. I don't know about placement rates. We have a placement cell, but as I said earlier, they need to provide more opportunities. They can invite more companies to our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is fine, and we are satisfied with our college. All the relevant complaints are being solved and corrected timely. We have a good canteen near to the campus, and there is a snack bar inside the campus. We had some issues related to our hostel earlier, but all those issues were solved by the vice chancellor of KAU.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very much supportive. The course curriculum is not that much tough, and it can be easily handled by the students. PPTs, seminars and assignments are really making our classes more active. The student to faculty ratio is 39:1. Students can go for industry visits from the second year of their course.
Other: Scholarships are offered for the students who belong to SC/ST categories, and they also offer scholarships for the students who come under ICAR. The fee structure is comparatively affordable, and the value of our course makes our MBA degree more demandable than other ordinary MBA degrees. Students are taking initiatives for fest, events and other extracurricular activities. Campus surroundings provide a good ambience for students.
