For admission to a three-year MD course at KGMU, there is basic eligibility criteria as per NBE norms. Admissions to this course is based on NEET PG scores. To appear for this entrance exam and admission to MD is offered to those who hold MD degree from a university recognised by Medical Council of India with minimum 55% aggregate in the case of General & OBC categories. There is a relaxation of five percent for SC/ ST category candidates. The reserved category candidates are required to obtain 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of MD.

In order to get admission to MBBS at KGMU, there is minimum eligibility criteria for this course. Those who are willing to get admission to MBBS must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects for General category candidates. DM stands for Doctor of Medicine, which is a super-specialised course in the field of Medical. Candidates can only pursue this course after getting a PG degree in Medical. For admission to a three-year DM course at KGMU, aspirants must get a PG degree in either MD/ MS or any equivalent from a recognised institution recognised by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Admission to this course is entirely based on NEET SS entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for DM is standard for all NEET SS aspirants.

King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers a three-year BSc course to students across two specialisations. Admission to this course is based on merit. Students must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to get admission to the KGMU BSc Nursing course. No, candidates are not allowed to get admission to the MBBS course at KGMU without NEET scores. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pursue an MBBS degree in India without passing the NEET exam. To get selected by King George Medical University for the MBBS course, candidates must qualify for certain eligibility criteria from which the first one is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB stream with a minimum of 50% scores.
