King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers a three-year BSc course to students across two specialisations. Admission to this course is based on merit. Students must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to get admission to the KGMU BSc Nursing course. The basic eligibility criteria is pass Class 12 with Physics Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) from a recognised board.

King George's Medical University is a public university which is accredited with A Grade by NAAC. Being a public university. The fee for various courses is not very high. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships offered by the university.

KGMU Lucknow offers direct admission to only BSc aspirants. For BSc course, the selection is based on the last qualifying exam of Class 12.
