Placements: Placement is quite good irrespective of the quality of teaching provided here. About 70% students are already placed of the batch 2013 - 2017. In the rest 30% of unplaced students, 10% are not eligible because of their backlogs. The highest, lowest and average salaries offered are 15 lacs, 2.2 lacs and 3.1 lacs per annum respectively. Most of the companies visited the campus are from IT sector. Different roles were offered to students but basically the role of IT solution engineer was offered. I...
Placements: Decent placement depends on the merit of the students. However, software sector is much better than core sector. Placement packages are lower compared to other universities. Most students of core sector have to apply for a job in software companies. Software students get good internships whereas core students have to toil hard for them.
Placements: When a majority of the colleges cannot afford to bring large number of companies due to recession this year, KIIT is exceptional. This college will give you enough opportunities to get placed but let be me clear in one thing, if you are in mechanical, civil or any core lines, the placements are not good and the salary is also not up to the expectation but the average salary offered by the (IT firms and respective core companies) is between 3 to 5 LPA, and that is mainly for the role of associate...
Placements: The percentage of students that got placed from CSE branch is pretty high. Around 80-85% students got placed, with an average package of Rs. 3.5 lakhs pa. Many students got selected for summer internship in some reputed companies like Dell, Amazon etc. Many tech companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, Dell, HCL, Samsung came for recruitment.
Placements: I got placed in 3 companies namely Accenture, Tech Mahindra and Wipro, but I did not sit for the other companies as I had the aim to pursue the Master's course. The placements are good, but in the IT market there is always a risk depending on the market scenario, so better get yourself prepared and build up your knowledge before facing the company interviews here.
Placements: As compared to the previous year, all the companies are taking 50% students(day-0 as well as day-1). However, KIIT has managed to call 5 day-1 companies than 4 in the previous year. Overall, 70-75% students are placed, but if CS and IT are considered, 90% students are placed.
Placements: Placements were great in 2015 but a significant decline has been seen in the 2016 session. Placement for electronics and computer science batches were all right but civil, mechanical and electrical suffered from lack of job offers. Deloitte offered salaries around 6-7 lakhs per annum. Bosch, Ericsson, HP and a few other companies provided salaries in the same scale but took very few students. The mass recruiters were Accenture, Capgemini, IBM, Wipro and Infosys and other companies hiring for dev...
It provides 360 degree education along with different curriculum activities like sports, drama, arts and different cultural programs. It has excellent faculty members. It has a great campus infrastructure with high class facilities. It has a great crowd and campus life. It also provides great industry exposure and internships for all the students.
Overall, the university is good. It has a lot of facilities but it still needs to develop a lot compared to other private universities. The placement here is fine but not for the core branches. Some of the faculty members here lack communication skills and most of them are not experienced enough. Lab facilities are good. It also provides a good exposure to students but students here are mostly job oriented. The university has not done anything to develop research programs at the undergraduate le...
The infrastructure is okay. World-class would be an over statement. Hostel rooms are good, not very well planned because the rooms, especially the top floor ones are hot and the city's heat makes it unhabitable during day time. However, that will change because the college is converting its rooms into AC rooms. The maintenance is okay and the food is better than other hostels but unlike home. The curriculum is okay and the structure is changing, making it a trimester pattern which is rigorous ...
Honestly, the only good thing about this college is its program of dual degree in MBA. Website of the college shows false packages offered to the students. This year the scenario of placement in KSOM is horrible, around 40 students are yet to be placed. There is no scope of higher packages for students even with good work experience. Though the college holds a lot of seminars and other activities, but the quality of these seminars is not up to the mark. Only 10% of the faculty can be judged as e...
This is a good university. Faculty members are average but the campus is great. Also, placement in core companies is poor. KIIT is the best university in Bhubaneswar, Odisha .It is a completely ragging free campus. If you are not interested in campus jobs then do join civil branch. However, if you take admission in any core branch, at the end you will be placed at some software company only.
College campus is very good. College area is very big. Every college has come of its pros and cons, so my college too have regarding fee its high But KIIT is one of the CLASS “A” university. If you are coming to KIIT University you will definitely feel better. And placement is quite good enough.
Excellent: 1.Infrastructure 2.Facilities 3.Hostels Good: 1.Placements (best for CSE, IT, ETC) Very few core companies come for placements Average: 1.Faculties 2.Laboratory Bad: 1.Administration 2.Return we get after paying so heavy money. There is fine for everything, so don’t expect anything in return, in fact you have to pay "Rs 500" so that you can attend convocation and get your degree.
Good infrastructure and teachers, however the founder of this college is a bit fake. He has built a false notion that he is a philanthropist however this seems more of an advertisement stunt. If you want to study you can take admission here, however there are a lot of redundant restrictions. Speaking anything against the college is not acceptable by the authorities.
Really good infrastructure. Most of the professors are helpful. Lots of opportunities for getting involved in extra-curricular and sports activities through various college societies. 24*7 Wi-Fi internet facility in college as well as hostels. Internet speed may be slow at peak times. Mess food is really pathetic otherwise other hostel facilities are satisfactory. Overall placement is good. In fact for CS/IT branch people they have assured job offers. Average salary around 3-3.5 LPA. Placement ...
If you are looking for academics and a solid base in your baccalaureate studies so that you might go for GATE or for a PSU or even higher studies abroad, this is certainly not the right college for you. However, if it’s a placement, a job that you are looking for, especially in an IT or a consultancy firm, and it does not even matter if you are pursuing your Engineering from a non-IT branch. Then KIIT University will guarantee you a couple of them. The Training and Placement Cell they have is o...
The infrastructure is quiet attractive but in a distributed manner. There is a lot of scope in software branches but least scope in core ones. Faculty are mostly from NITs and IITs. Fees structure is little bit high but it’s a good college. Hostels are also good. The mess food is little ignorable with not a single chapatti going inside the stomach.
KIIT University is one of the famous private colleges in India. The college has an excellent infrastructure, and facilities like sports, stadium, extra curriculum but it’s not yet developed in academics. Faculty members are not good and helpful. They don't want to take the pain for students and they are very poor at knowledge.
You dream of it and you will get it at KIIT. The whole campus is a nice place. Special care is taken by the teachers towards each and every student to help make the future. Our college gives record placrment every year as compared to other private colleges. It is also A grade and will soon get linked up with colleges outside India. Thn students will be able to take admission abroad easily wth reference from KIIT.
