Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for MSc Wildlife at Kota University?

A: 
M.Sc in wildlife science is a two-year full-time curriculum having four semesters since its inception. There are about 20 seats in the University of Kota. The eligibility criteria for this course is as under: Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree in Science/ Medical Science/ Engineering/ Veterinary Science/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Pharmacy/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or a degree recognized as equivalent thereof should have studied in the science stream at higher secondary or other equivalent board. The minimum aggregate marks in Bachelor's degree recognized by UGC for unreserved category (UR/Gen) is 55% and for SC/ST/OBC/SOBC: Minimum Pass Marks. For other State: 60%. The admission is based on merit. Fee per annum: Rs 18000.

Kota University provides a two-year, four-semester full-time Master of Science (MSc) programme. Admission to the MSc programme at Kota University is determined by the candidate's performance on their most recent qualifying exam. Except for Zoology and Wildlife Science, all specialisations have the same minimum score requirements. The university furthermore provides MSc programme through its affiliated colleges. Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to get admission to MSc course: 

Eligibility: B.Sc. In the relevant stream with a minimum 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for M.Sc. Zoology & Wild Life Science) for General category candidates of Rajasthan and 60% aggregate for other state candidates

Selection: Merit-based

Kota University has not released a course-wise placement report for 2023. However, the NIRF placement report for 2023 has been released.     Q:   How many times is MAT conducted in a year?

    A: 

    MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam which is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT which can be taken by candidates from an exam centre as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September and December which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as MBA Admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam as per their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.

    Q:   What is the CAT 2024 exam date?

    The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024.
