Feedback and review of my college.
Placements: Most of the students are placed from the course. The average package is around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are mainly mass recruitment-based companies, and they hire according to the skill level of the students. The top role in my course is of a yoga teacher and instructor. More than 70 percent of the students got placed in the company.
Infrastructure: The facility is good and hygienic. There are Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library with well-equipped books. The quality of food in the hostel is also very good and hygienic. There are medical and sports facilities present. Both indoor and outdoor sports are available.

M.A. in Assamese - Batch of 2023
3.4

Excellent academics but needs better placements.
Placements: One of the worst courses to get a job or placement. Studying M.A. at this university means a 99% chance of unemployment. There is no company offering placement at this university. Students have to find jobs themselves and getting a job with this degree is very difficult.
Infrastructure: This university is a new one, so the infrastructure is under construction. Classrooms and libraries are average but there are no facilities like Wi-Fi or labs. The quality of hostel facilities is above average. Other facilities, like medical facilities and sports, are also good. The canteen at the university is average.
Faculty: Although most of the teachers at this university are helpful, the course is outdated. So, this course is only a theoretical foundation. Courses that mostly lead to unemployment. The courses lack practical knowledge, so I would suggest not joining this course.
Other: Focus on practical knowledge-based courses to be improved.

M.A. in Philosophy - Batch of 2023

It's a good college for M.A.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placements here because it is a new university. The highest package for placements here is 5-6 Lacs per year. Fairly good companies come here for placements as it is a new college. About 40-50% of students get internships from our college.
Infrastructure: It is a new university; work is still ongoing here. Classrooms and the library are fairly good. Hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi is available, and there are good canteen facilities here. The quality and quantity of food in the canteen are very good. The medical faculty here is also good.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and have high knowledge. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams here are quite tough, with a pass percentage above 40%. Semester exams are conducted here honestly, and during the exams, there are a minimum of 3-4 guards in each room.
Other: I chose this course because I had wanted to for a long time, and most importantly, the teachers here are very helpful.

M.A. in Assamese - Batch of 2024

I just love the college. It has changed my life.
Placements: Around 85% of students are placed in our course. In the M.A. in Assamese course, the average salary was 8 to 9 Lacs per annum, with the highest salary being 10 LPA. Some students get internships. This course includes jobs like school teacher, language expert, content writer, translator, professor, and others in higher education like Ph.D.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent and matches international standards. Wi-Fi facilities are available inside the campus. The classrooms are well-equipped with AC. The college has a vast library with a wide collection of books and journals. They provide good medical facilities. Sports facilities have recently been added.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Practical sessions are conducted along with theory. Teachers and all staff are very friendly and always stand by the students. The study material is well-structured as per the semester. It's not a tough course if you are patient. Semester exams are really helpful for gaining knowledge.
Other: The campus crowd is active all the time, and you can take part in any extracurricular activities you wish.

Strong academic record, but needs improvement in placements.
Placements: Here are some of the reasons why this is one of the worst courses when it comes to getting a job or placement. This university provides an M.A. programme in which employment probability touches up to 99% after its completion. This university is devoid of a company that provides students with placement. The students themselves have to search for jobs, and it is extremely challenging to get a job with this type of degree.
Infrastructure: This is a relatively young university, therefore, the existing facilities are limited. Classrooms and libraries are average, but there is no Wi-Fi or lab in this college. It can be said that the quality of hostel facilities is above average, but relatively higher. Other facilities, including medical facilities and sports, are also recommended. The canteen at the university is moderate.
Faculty: Most teachers at this university are caring, but regarding this course, it is not updated. Therefore, this course more or less provides only a theoretical background. Programs mainly leave students jobless. The courses do not delve into practical knowledge, thus, I do not recommend joining this course.
