M.A. in Philosophy - Batch of 2023
4.8

It's a good college for M.A.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placements here because it is a new university. The highest package for placements here is 5-6 Lacs per year. Fairly good companies come here for placements as it is a new college. About 40-50% of students get internships from our college.
Infrastructure: It is a new university; work is still ongoing here. Classrooms and the library are fairly good. Hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi is available, and there are good canteen facilities here. The quality and quantity of food in the canteen are very good. The medical faculty here is also good.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and have high knowledge. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams here are quite tough, with a pass percentage above 40%. Semester exams are conducted here honestly, and during the exams, there are a minimum of 3-4 guards in each room.
Other: I chose this course because I had wanted to for a long time, and most importantly, the teachers here are very helpful.

I just love the college. It has changed my life.
Placements: Around 85% of students are placed in our course. In the M.A. in Assamese course, the average salary was 8 to 9 Lacs per annum, with the highest salary being 10 LPA. Some students get internships. This course includes jobs like school teacher, language expert, content writer, translator, professor, and others in higher education like Ph.D.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent and matches international standards. Wi-Fi facilities are available inside the campus. The classrooms are well-equipped with AC. The college has a vast library with a wide collection of books and journals. They provide good medical facilities. Sports facilities have recently been added.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Practical sessions are conducted along with theory. Teachers and all staff are very friendly and always stand by the students. The study material is well-structured as per the semester. It's not a tough course if you are patient. Semester exams are really helpful for gaining knowledge.
Other: The campus crowd is active all the time, and you can take part in any extracurricular activities you wish.

Excellent academics but needs better placements.
Placements: One of the worst courses to get a job or placement. Studying M.A. at this university means a 99% chance of unemployment. There is no company offering placement at this university. Students have to find jobs themselves and getting a job with this degree is very difficult.
Infrastructure: This university is a new one, so the infrastructure is under construction. Classrooms and libraries are average but there are no facilities like Wi-Fi or labs. The quality of hostel facilities is above average. Other facilities, like medical facilities and sports, are also good. The canteen at the university is average.
Faculty: Although most of the teachers at this university are helpful, the course is outdated. So, this course is only a theoretical foundation. Courses that mostly lead to unemployment. The courses lack practical knowledge, so I would suggest not joining this course.
Other: Focus on practical knowledge-based courses to be improved.

It is the best college for PG in literature.
Placements: Admission to M.A. in SMS is based on the performance of students in the relevant entrance exam and subsequent round of counseling or their graduation marks. There are 66 seats available every year. In the past few years, 80-90% of students have been placed in many big companies like HCL, IBM, Tata Consultancy, Adobe, PTC, and some have pursued careers in teaching or journalism, with others exploring fields like writing and ONGC. The average package for these students ranges from 2 Lacs per annum to 8 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The college now meets international standards with its infrastructure, featuring spacious classrooms with AC, projectors, and HD boards. It also offers facilities such as a library, auditorium, Wi-Fi for boosting studies, and a hostel conducive to studying, along with medical facilities and good food available in the canteen.
Faculty: The college boasts the best faculty with rich experience, most of whom hold Ph.D.s in their respective domains. They have been serving the college for over 20 years. The college maintains well-established industry and alumni relationships that help in updating its curriculum regularly. The course has 4 semester exams designed to provide students with comprehensive experience.
Other: The bonding between teachers and students, as well as between seniors and juniors, enhances the college environment, and events and festivals are consistently hosted in an impressive manner.

Absolutely amazing facilities. Satisfied with our top notch faculty.
Placements: 50% in graduation is a minimum criteria for a degree in this course. This is a PG course of two years. The placement offer are excellent as we have good placements cell in our college. In our college, finally year students are eligible for placement criteria. As many big companies invited us for good placement from our college like Muthoot Group, ICICI Bank, Junior College, Fine Tools, etc. This course gives an opportunity to explore the fields like banking, finance, stenographer teaching, etc. In many big post Like secretary, assistant manager, HR level etc.
Infrastructure: Classroom has facilities like Wi-Fi, digital class and labs that are highly equipped with modern technology. There are 9 hostels in our campus. Apart from the canteen, mess food is also very good. Apart from this, there are medical facilities, sports facilities, extracurricular activities are available in our campus. There are separate clubs for football, cricket, outdoor and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are ready to help if you need it. All are highly qualified and most of them have completed higher education in foreign universities. We have 2 main exams in our semester. One is midterm exam and the other is final term exam. Also we have to maintain 75% attendance also. The semester seems difficult if you do not attend the class carefully. Syllabus is very good according to situation and it is very relevant for this modern era. Exam curriculum is very relevant and pass percentage is different for different subjects but quite satisfied.

Strong academic record, but needs improvement in placements.
Placements: Here are some of the reasons why this is one of the worst courses when it comes to getting a job or placement. This university provides an M.A. programme in which employment probability touches up to 99% after its completion. This university is devoid of a company that provides students with placement. The students themselves have to search for jobs, and it is extremely challenging to get a job with this type of degree.
Infrastructure: This is a relatively young university, therefore, the existing facilities are limited. Classrooms and libraries are average, but there is no Wi-Fi or lab in this college. It can be said that the quality of hostel facilities is above average, but relatively higher. Other facilities, including medical facilities and sports, are also recommended. The canteen at the university is moderate.
Faculty: Most teachers at this university are caring, but regarding this course, it is not updated. Therefore, this course more or less provides only a theoretical background. Programs mainly leave students jobless. The courses do not delve into practical knowledge, thus, I do not recommend joining this course.
