Good studies and facilities.
Placements: Approximately 40-50% of the students in my course are placed. The highest package is around 5 Lacs per annum, the lowest is around 3 Lacs per annum, and the average package offered is somewhere around 3-3.5 Lacs. Maruti, Samsung, Vodafone, Just Dial, and Coca Cola are the top recruiting companies for my course.
Infrastructure: The DSB Campus at Kumaon University, Nainital, offers decent facilities for B.Com students, including well-equipped classrooms, a comprehensive library, and computer labs. The campus provides Wi-Fi, though connectivity varies. Hostel accommodations are clean, with satisfactory mess food, and a canteen for snacks. Basic medical services are available on campus, with referrals to a nearby hospital for serious issues. Sports facilities include grounds for outdoor games and indoor activities.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and help with everything; I really feel good about our teachers. Our faculty is qualified and knowledgeable, teaching us in the way we want. Semester exams are difficult, and you need to study well to score good marks.
Other: Events, fests, and campus crowd are very good.

As per the feels, the college is quite good and provides decent opportunities.
Placements: The placement rate is about 30-40 percent. The highest package is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. So, the average package is around 3.5 LPA. To be honest, placements are not that good for the college, but you can do that on your own. Justdial, Samsung, and Vodafone are among the top recruiting companies for the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good enough. There's a library available for students to go and study and search for all the details, and computers are available in the library. The classrooms are in good condition. The college campus gets cleaned daily.
Faculty: The nature of teachers is very helpful. They help a lot and provide us with so much guidance and keep us motivated and encouraged. The classes are not so boring. Semester exams in the college are slightly difficult; you have to study thoroughly to score well in the exams.
Other: The course was my preference. But the best things about the course are the subjects and the teachers; you develop a lot of interest in the subjects and start enjoying the classes. You have to be interactive and develop connections in the college. There are societies to join for extracurricular activities.

Is Kumaun University worth it, or is it just a bluff?
Placements: Worst when it comes to placement; there is no one even to guide what to do and how to do it. The placement scenario is terrible, and do not trust anyone who says that you will be placed and assisted when it comes to placements. I would rate it a 0; however, the faculty is one of the best.
Infrastructure: It is one of the cheapest colleges, which is why they don't care about infrastructure. The building is old and has never been restored; it is the same as when it was built. There are cracked walls, non-working Wi-Fi, and cracked tiles in the classrooms. You can even see the original color of the building. It is below average in the infrastructure sector.
Faculty: The faculty is one of the best, highly qualified, and very cooperative. The teachers have a knowledgeable approach, and everything taught in college is easy to understand. Every teacher is helpful and assists with every aspect.

Our college is good with placement percentage and staff members.
Placements: In our college, around 60% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Almost 30% of students got internships in our course. Teachers were good and friendly in nature. This was a good place for studying.
Infrastructure: Our college had the best facilities and infrastructure for our department. We had labs, classrooms, a library, etc. There were good facilities in our hostel. The quality of food served was good. Medical facilities, sports, and games were good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. Semester exams were difficult. The pass percentage was 80-90%. Teachers helped to make students industry-ready. We gained good knowledge also.
Other: This was the best course for the future. Scholarships were less. I had an excellent time at this college.

The Kumaun university.
Placements: There are very few companies that approach the placement purpose of the students. Although Kumaun University provides some good internship programs for the students. Mainly LIC companies participate or approach for that kind of internship, to enhance the students’ skills.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for this course, such as well-connected Wi-Fi and a lab, are also there. Well-furnished classrooms are there. A library is also there with a good atmosphere. The hostel mess quality is good, and the hostel is good for those students who are interested in sports.
Faculty: Teachers of this faculty are very helpful, well qualified, and also very knowledgeable. Their teaching method is very good, easy, and understandable. The difficulty level of the semester examination is not too high, and the passing percentage is about 50 percent.
