The hostel has very good food.
Placements: Even though my course is a professional-oriented course, the placement department is not active in enrolling students in various institutions for jobs. The college campus is large but the placement cell is not active enough to conduct a job fair. But the college gives coaching in UGC NET for PG students, but it's not quite active in inviting companies for placement purposes.
Infrastructure: Two beds, two wardrobes, two tables, and two chairs are provided as furniture for students in one hostel room in the boys hostel. There is a fan and two plug points for two students. The food facilities are there with monthly payments for them, which range around a reasonable INR 2800 per month. The meals are vegetarian and well prepared. There are three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) provided each day, along with snacks in the evening every day. Dal, sambar, rasam, vegetable curries, curd, and price are all staple foods. There is dosa, roti, tea, coffee, and badam milk for breakfast. You can apply for a hostel and the results will be uploaded to the university website. Preference is given to out-of-station students. The hostel overall is available at a cheap rate. Hostel Fee: INR 10,000 per year.
Faculty: The course structure was good. Since I was in journalism, a lot of field exposure was provided. Workshops were also provided and practical lessons took place on a daily basis. The exams were both theoretical and practical. We had to make presentations and perform mini-projects too. Class size:-67 The course costs INR 21300 per year.
