Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, bad placements in 2023.
Placements: In our college, there were 70 students in our graduating class. Of those, one of my friends got a 4.7 LPA package and went on to work as a software engineer at LG Soft. Others went to startups, and some went to foreign countries to pursue higher education.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the classrooms, but it is available in the labs. The quality of the labs is good, and the college canteen is the best thing about the college. We had a lot of fun there. A little more improvement is needed.
Faculty: The passing percentage is good, around 80-85%, and the course is relevant to the curriculum, making it easy to pass. However, the quality of teaching is poor, as the teachers only explain the main concepts, and if we want to score high, we have to study on our own.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering because technology is an emerging field. However, the curriculum needs to be updated to include proper coding and presentation skills, which are essential in today's job market.

I am completely dissatisfied with management. They make promises that they can't keep.
Placements: Placements are very good. They offer average salary packages but are good compared to nearby colleges. They provide placement training from the beginning, such as full-stack development from Q-Spiders, J-Spiders, or TestYantra in Bangalore. Nearly 30 companies visit here every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not up to the mark, but it is fine. Labs don't have the latest version of PCs. The library has some rules, like schools. Classrooms are also not that good. The rules in the hostel are like the rules in a primary school. The mess food is not good, but they charge more money for food. They don't support sports and games.
Faculty: Most HODs are self-centered people, especially in the ECE branch. The allocation of faculty members is also not good. A professor who has never been exposed to a field will come to teach you because the HOD asks him or her to do so.

It's the worst college, don't come here.
Placements: This college has no mechanical placement. They don't want us to be placed in core companies; they want us to be placed in it sector, despite the fact that we are mechanical engineers. If we do not want that company, they will begin to hold a grudge against us.
Infrastructure: Library is nice. You can eat at the Taj Hotel for less money instead pf food court. I believe the quality is very poor for the price we are paying. I can say that medical facilities are irresponsible. When a boy went to our college medical centre with a fractured leg, the person there put the plaster on the wrong leg.
Faculty: Some teachers are okay and some do not know how to talk to students.
Other: I'd like to say something. That college is only for making money, for example: our head of the mechanical department knows nothing about the subject he teaches, literally nothing, so how come someone made him a HoD? My advice is to avoid this college because there are far better colleges out there.

Good Infrastructure cum Training & Placements.
Placements: They have the Best Placements when compared to other colleges in Karnataka. They have placement drives, Aptitude tests and all of it for the students on a regular basis. Students get internships in 3rd Year as well and a lot of time and effort is put in on students.
Infrastructure: It’s a Connected Campus with 150 Mbps of Wi-Fi for all the students and it has a Digital Library as well! It has a lot of unique labs like Edwin’s Lab and iOS App development lab and many more. Sports is given a lot of importance and other cultural events take place which bring out the diversity of students studying here.
Faculty: Faculty is more focused on students than anything else. The staff has immense Practical Knowledge which is actually required for the Engineering students. Semester Exams depend on the VTU papers as this college is under VTU but usually what faculties teach us come in the exams.

An honest review of Alva’s College, Moodbidire.
Placements: About 90% of students were placed in the course. The maximum salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. But in the banner, you will see the salary package as 20 LPA, it's fake. Top recruiters are Infosys, etc. Most of all students got internship opportunities. They only focus on semester results, not on the overall activities of students. Teaching staff members are the worst.
Infrastructure: No such high facilities are available in our college. When you enter the college, they say 60 Mbps but you will not get that speed. You get only 20 Kbps. In the library, you will get old textbooks and they are not replaced with new ones. In the classrooms, the projectors are very cheap but they are not working. If you see them from the first bench also, you can't view the wall. Mess food is too delicious but we can't digest. The canteen serves only get 2 types of food, only biriyani, and parotta. Medical facilities are very costly. If you go to a hospital and get admitted for 5 days, you have to pay Rs.4000.
Faculty: It is the very worst experience. Teachers in our college are not experienced and waste the time of students. Students only sit for attendance. It's not college but a kindergarten class. You will get irritated with college after 1st year. The semester exam is neither so easy nor tough. Pass percentage is more than 85%.
Other: The course is interesting but college makes it a bore to study. Events are okay. But fest is the worst thing. They conduct a dare to hack, fun games for 2nd years. The students who are other in 2nd year don't know about Java and they conduct dare-to-hack activities. After 7 pm, you can't go out of the college. For boys, hostel is behind college so it's like a jail. You will not get holidays like other colleges. The outing is allowed only on Sunday and it's only from 9 am to 1 pm.

TCS, Amazon, Wipro, and Infosys are the major recruiters. Most people get selected. There is 100% placement in our college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There are many labs like the internet lab, Ade lab, Edwin lab, and iOS lab and the in-charge is taken by faculty members. Teaching is good. We have a huge library. There are medical facilities like a hospital and a huge ground for games.
Faculty: All the faculty members are good except few. There are some teachers with many years of experiences and teach well. They contain different workshops according to the curriculum. We have to work hard to get more marks.
