Q:   Is it compulsory for B.Com students to stay at campus hostel at MAHE?

A: 

Yes, it is mandatory for all first year BCom students to reside in the campus hostels of MAHE. Those desirous of staying outside under own arrangements must submit a consent letter from their parents duly recommended by their HOI and forward it to Director, Student Affairs for necessary permission.

Applicants from any disciplinary background can apply for BCom courses at MAHE if they meet the primary criteria and can clear all the steps of MAHE's admission process and are eligible to get admission.     Manipal on a whole is an experience every student must have.
    Placements: The placements in Doc, Mahe Manipal are not really the best. The average package for a B.Com graduate is 3 LPA-4 LPA. Many companies, such as the big four, visit our campus, but the salary is less. Not all B.Com graduates opt for placement, as they want to pursue higher studies, so the number of students placed is comparatively less.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Commerce department is not as good as compared to Engineering or Architecture, but it is pretty good too. Wi-Fi is available, and the classrooms have AC. The hostel facilities are very good. Every alternative day, there will be cleaning, and any issue will be fixed within 24-48 hours.
    Faculty: The faculty in the Department of Commerce are the best. They are well-versed in the subjects they are teaching. Most of the faculty have a lot of experience in teaching and even in the corporate world. They also have PhDs, and most of our accounting teachers are CAs.
    Other: I chose B.Com Professional in Doc, Mahe because its curriculum is integrated with ACCA. So, we get 9 paper exemptions out of 13. This would be very helpful to get a degree and also complete ACCA simultaneously, which is an added bonus.

    Absolutely satisfied with the campus and infrastructure.
    Placements: Every student who had an aggregate higher than 60% in their 12th boards was placed in my course. Sixty-five percent of the students in the course have got internships in companies like Google, Microsoft, and many more renowned companies.
    Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, A/C classrooms, and canteens. The quality of the facilities in my hostel is top-class, and the food is also of a very high standard. The medical facilities are of really good stature.
    Faculty: The teachers and all the faculty are really helpful at all times and are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The semester exams are at the correct level to make every student learn the most out of their subjects and are also easy to study to get good marks.

    Comfort place in manipal.
    Placements: Above 70% students were placed in my course, and top roles that are offered for my course is auditing and more accounting based roles. So there was a good percentage of students who got good placements in places like bangalore and all. Pretty good placements.
    Infrastructure: There are adequate facilities in the building study, nothing special, computer labs and library exist but just enough nothing more. Food in canteen is also okay but again nothing great. No games rooms exist and medical facilities is less to be honest.
    Faculty: Teachers are pretty sweet and helpful, semester exams can be hard sometimes but not like impossible. The subjects taught help with acca a lot so it is very relevan, the teachers are qualified and they do help u along the way with notes and studies..
    Other: Great scope with this course, many opportunities with this college. Just wish for more facilities and great events.

    Manipal Academy of Higher Education is a good place to take admission.
    Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities to students. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. The college has a lot of resources at its disposal.
    Infrastructure: All facilities are provided on campus. Classrooms are air-conditioned with well-arranged seats, a blackboard, and a projector. There are seven-storeyed buildings for sports called an arena. Our college provides a swimming pool, a gym, tennis court, athletic, basketball courts, etc. The hostel and mess facilities are the best in India. Medical facilities are also good. Our college is rated as the best hostel facility by many surveys and sites.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful, trained, and well-experienced. They have good interaction with students. Semester exams are not difficult to pass. The course curriculum is one of the best we can get in India as its focuses on the holistic development of students. The course is helpful for any kind of research program and to find out our interest in the field in which we want to excel.
    Other: I opted for B.Com professional with ACCA because it is a wonderful college with the best faculty members. Manipal University is ranked 15 in NIRF. This university also has international collaboration with some reputed colleges like Trinity College, Dublin. The campus is wide and beautiful surrounded by nature. I am impressed with the infrastructure and academics of our college.

    A: 

    Manipal University admissions are completely entrance-based. Except for a few courses, where candidates are selected through the merit obtained in their last qualifying exam or by qualifying for Department specific tets for the respective courses. Apart from that, for courses like BBA, MA, BTech, BPharm, etc. candidates must appear for Manipal Entrance Test (MET), followed by other selection rounds.     Q:   Is Manipal University Bangalore costly?

    A: 

    Candidates willing to get admission to various courses must apply online on the official website and must pay INR 600 for all courses and INR 1,400 for the entrance exam for some selected courses. At Manipal University, the fee for BTech ranges between INR 8.1 lakh and INR 14 lakh, for MBA it is INR 18 lakh, for BSc the fee ranges between INR 2.1 lakh and INR 6.3 lakh and for MTech, the fee is between INR 2.2 lakh and INR 3.5 lakh. The eligibility criteria for various courses is Bachelor's degree and the accepted entrance exams are NEET MET GATE XAT CAT MAT and others.
