MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2025
Offered by MGM Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad

Good hospital, patient flow is good, and also infrastructure and faculty members are also good.
Placements: The lowest package is around INR 30,000 per month, and the highest is around INR 65,000. It really depends on the PG branch we are doing. After completing our final year, we'll have to do a one-year internship at the same college. The internship is compulsory, and the stipend is INR 18,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and the hospital is well-equipped. The hospital is a tertiary care center, so it has almost all care facilities. The college has a very good library and a skill lab with mannequins so that students can practice clinical procedures. The hostel has quite good facilities.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well qualified, and they teach us very properly. The teaching curriculum is based on the recent CBME pattern, which is more based on the clinical grounds and what and how doctors should handle any patient in a real-life situation. Semester examinations are moderately difficult. Passing criteria is 50% in all subjects.

Very satisfied with seniors, as they help us a lot in almost everything.
Placements: In B.Sc. OTAT, 20 students got admission through interviews and based on scores in the 12th exam. The salary package offered is between 25000-35000 PM. Top recruiting companies are multi-specialty hospitals like Tata and Fortis where we get recruited. Internship is a part of our curriculum. In the 4th year, we might get placed in MGM Charitable Hospital as an intern. After completing the 4th year program, we shall work in OTS as operation theatre assistants, technologists, or anesthesia assistants.
Infrastructure: From the 3rd semester, we were posted to different departments like Oncology, Gynecology, Cardiac, etc. and we started learning the practical part too. During the 4th year, we don't need to buy any books, as there is a library equipped with many books for students and can easily borrow books. Hostels are not worth it, it's too expensive. Canteen facilities are good and loved by students.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. There are surgeons, senior or junior residents, and even Ph.D. students and professionals who teach us. In the 1st year, students get the basic knowledge. From 2nd year, we get the practical knowledge that helps us be industry-ready. Exams are usually not so difficult if we study hard daily and are attentive in class.

Good college need to improve on campus
Placements: We were a batch of 200 but since we were divided in groups we had better teach student interaction. Teachers r kind and helpful. Facilities are good. According to the fees being 21 lacks per year the teaching staff and facilities are amazing. Teachers take a lot of effort.
Infrastructure: The campus is small. Shared canteen with the hospital patients. No place to sit on campus. The library is really well developed has book lending facility full ac hall to study. Rest lecture hall is good and air conditioned but the rest of classrooms are congested.
Faculty: Loads of exams and vivas internals taken every week. Helped in preparations before hand. Strict about attendance. Facilities provided r good. Teacher r hight experienced and try best to provide personal attention. Personal kit for experiment to all.

Really good college, the campus is just epic, and the placement is also good.
Placements: Most of the students in the course were placed in different hospitals. The average starting package offered to the freshers was 20000. There is an internship already added to the course, which is in the last year of the college, i.e., in the 7th and 8th semesters.
Infrastructure: The facilities available at the college are top-notch. There are nearly all the facilities available in the college, like a very big library, computer rooms discussion rooms and free Wi-Fi. The quality of the food in the canteen is not that good as compared to other colleges but it is still edible.
Faculty: The faculty members are very knowledgeable and they are also highly educated. The faculty use different methods to teach so that every student can understand the basics and also increase his or her knowledge. The examinations that are taken are hard, but they are passable.
Other: I chose this course because the curriculum is all related to biology and also focuses on the science behind the human body. I think the course doesn't need any improvements but still, the method of taking exams should be changed a bit.

Bachelor of physiotherapy curriculum at MGM.
Placements: Only 20% of students get placement and that too depends on their skills and knowledge, not the college, the rest of the options for a master's, or their own clinic. The average package is 3–4 lakhs. No companies recruit from here. The 6-month internship is compulsory for all students but it's not paid .
Infrastructure: There are good-quality classrooms, but not like at the medical college, where only the department has the classrooms. library is good. But I don't have access to the central library. The quality of the hostel is average, and the food is above average. No extra sports period are available but it is only available during college festival.
Faculty: Staff is very qualified; all of them have completed their Masters in physiotherapy, and some of them are also pursuing Ph.D. The course curriculum is relevant and also has extra subjects, including the usual ones, that are easy to keep up with. The exams are held twice a year and are average, with only 50–60% passing .
Other: The course is something that I always wanted to study and MGM has a vast number of patients in the hospital. Even the staff is very educated and helpful. Only one scholarship is provided to underprivileged students .

Satisfied with faculty and college.
Placements: There are no placements in this college. Forty percent of students from my pharmaceutical, biotech, and cancer research course obtained internships from companies such as pharmaceutical, biotech, and cancer research. Internships are provided by the college to very selective students only.
Infrastructure: Labs are available and amazing. Labs can be used anytime from 9 AM to 5 PM slots. There is no restriction on using labs. The library is also available all the time, with no restrictions on use. The quality of food in the canteen is good. There are three canteens in our college. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also available. Unfortunately, classrooms are not available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very humble, and the teaching quality is also quite good. Especially our HOD is very humble and supportive. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. Teachers always help us to pass the exams. However, the pass percentage is 50% individually in internal and external exams.
Other: I want to be a research scientist, so I chose medical biotechnology. There should be placements in this course and internships also provided by the college for students to gain experience.
