Admission to this PG-level course is through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). For selection, candidates have to take the MGU CAT exam, which is conducted in-house. However, the course fee is more economical at the Calicut University. MGU MA fees range between INR 1,900 and INR 1.8 Lacs and at Calicut University, the MA fee range from INR 950 to INR 82,500. MGU CAT exam has 80 MCQs with four choices for each question. Each correct answer carries one mark and there is negative score for incorrect answers. The entrance exam duration is 90 minutes. No, a CUET score is not required for admission to MG University courses. There is no information available regarding the same officially. Admission to the MGU Kerala courses is merit and entrance-based. The university also conducts an in-house entrance examination, which is the Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test (MGU CAT).  It is conducted for admissions to various PG programmes offered by the University such as MSc, MA, Master of Tourism and Travel Management, LLM and M.Ed. In addition, many national-level exam scores are also accepted for admission.

Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala offers admission to its BSc programmes on a merit-basis. Hence, the aspirants scores in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 are taken into consideration. Candidates also have to submit their pass certificates at the university for verification purposes. The seats are allotted through a centralised allotment procedure.

For MGU Kerala BSc course admissions, aspirants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. The applicants should have passed qualifying exam with the required minimum aggregate. The candidates must hold the qualifying examination mark sheet at the time of form filling and admission. These documents are required by the university for verification purposes at the time of form filling and admission process. Moreover, the absence of the same can lead to the application rejection. 

Mahatma Gandhi Univerity Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) application fee is announced category-wise. The application fee for general and open all-India quota candidates is INR 1,200 and INR 600 for the SC/ST candidates. Moreover, the fee for international candidates is UD 100. The fee payment shall be accepted in online mode via credit card, debit card, or net banking.
