Admission to this PG-level course is through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). For selection, candidates have to take the MGU CAT exam, which is conducted in-house. Admission to the MGU Kerala courses is merit and entrance-based. The university also conducts an in-house entrance examination, which is the Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test (MGU CAT).  It is conducted for admissions to various PG programmes offered by the University such as MSc, MA, Master of Tourism and Travel Management, LLM and M.Ed. Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala offers admission to its BSc programmes on a merit-basis. Hence, the aspirants scores in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 are taken into consideration. For MGU Kerala BSc course admissions, aspirants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. The applicants should have passed qualifying exam with the required minimum aggregate. The candidates must hold the qualifying examination mark sheet at the time of form filling and admission. Mahatma Gandhi Univerity Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) application fee is announced category-wise. The application fee for general and open all-India quota candidates is INR 1,200 and INR 600 for the SC/ST candidates. Moreover, the fee for international candidates is UD 100.
