I would recommend not to join this institution if you don't have anyone in this field to support you after your college in placement matters.

The college of marine- The MANET.
Placements: So if you see around 100-110 students get placed from 120 students, and the package is around 1.5-2.5 lakhs per month after becoming a 3rd officer. Top companies are Molta Mol, Yom Tankers, Maersk, Chellaram, and many more. We have an internship first, and then only we can get the job, so the same numbers here also as the placement one. Top roles in our field are the captain.
Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure I have ever seen in my life as a hosteller. It is very good: the food, the Wi-Fi speed, and the classrooms are also fantastic. We have a good library for studying with many books and newspapers and many other things. The quality of food I can tell you is that it's good from others but not good from your home, and we have a hospital attached to our college named Vishwajraj, which is again expensive but good. We have all the facilities for sports. All of the sports are available, which you can think of.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful as well as having Ph.D.s in their subjects and having a lot of knowledge. Teaching quality is like 9/10. The course is also good, and it's very related to our course. The semester exams are here and are very easy, not hard, but okay, so if you are having an average brain also, then you are going to do a good job in it.
Other: I chose this course as I was in love with the marine field, and talking about the best things in this field is you have to travel from one place to another every time. We have so many fests and extracurricular activities going on in our college. Although we are not allowed, we try to sneak in. As that's the fun we are having here.

Strong Practical Training and Career Opportunities, but Room for Improved Support and Activities.
Placements: The placement scenario for the B.Sc. Nautical Science course is generally strong, with approximately 80-90% of students securing placements, depending on the batch and market conditions. The maritime industry offers a steady demand for skilled professionals, ensuring good placement opportunities. The highest package offered ranges between 12-15 LPA, typically for roles in reputed international shipping companies. The average package is around 6-8 LPA, while the lowest package starts at 3-4 LPA, often offered by smaller or domestic companies. Top recruiting companies include Maersk Line, Anglo-Eastern Ship Management, Great Eastern Shipping, Synergy Marine Group, and Feet Management, among others. These organizations are well-known for offering excellent growth opportunities and global exposure. Internship placements are also promising, with around 85-90% of students securing internships as part of their mandatory sea-time training. Companies like Mediterranean Shipping Company, Maersk, V-Ships, and Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) regularly onboard cadets for hands-on training on their vessels. Top roles offered include Deck Cadets, where students are groomed for aviation and ship operations and eventually advance to positions like Chief Officer or Captain. Companies also provide opportunities for specialized roles in port management, logistics, and maritime consultancy after gaining sea-time experience. Overall, the course provides strong placement and internship opportunities, but the outcome can vary based on individual performance, company requirements, and market conditions.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the B.Sc. Nautical Science courses are well-designed to meet the demands of maritime training. The classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids, and the campus has specialized simulation labs for aviation and ship handling, allowing cadets to gain hands-on experience. The library is well-stocked with books on Nautical Science, maritime law, and ship operations, alongside digital resources for research. Wi-Fi is available in common areas, although its speed and connectivity can sometimes be inconsistent. Hostel facilities are functional, with adequate room space, proper ventilation, and essential amenities like study desks and storage. However, improvements in bedding quality, such as providing better pillows, would enhance comfort. The mess offers a variety of meals, though the quality and variety could be more consistent to suit diverse tastes. The campus also has a canteen offering snacks and beverages for quick refreshments. Medical facilities are satisfactory, with a dedicated first-aid center and tie-ups with a nearby hospital for emergencies. Sports and recreational facilities include grounds for cricket and football, courts for basketball and volleyball, and indoor games like table tennis. However, more frequent sports events and better maintenance of equipment would benefit students. Overall, while the facilities support academic and physical well-being, continuous improvements in Wi-Fi, hostel comfort, and recreational activities could significantly enhance the student experience.
Faculty: The teachers in the B.Sc. Nautical Science programs are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with most faculty members having extensive maritime experience. Their industry insights provide practical relevance, and many are approachable for clearing doubts and offering guidance. However, teaching methods could benefit from more interactive sessions to better engage students. The course curriculum is highly relevant and tailored to meet industry standards. It covers critical areas like aviation, ship operations, and maritime law, ensuring students are industry-ready. Practical training through simulators, seamanship labs, and mandatory sea-time internships helps bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world applications. Semester exams are moderately challenging, focusing on a mix of theoretical understanding and practical application. Students with consistent study habits and a clear grasp of the subjects usually perform well. The average pass percentage ranges between 85-90%, reflecting the effectiveness of the curriculum and faculty support. Overall, the course provides a solid foundation for maritime careers, equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the industry. Continuous improvements in teaching methods and a greater emphasis on interactive learning could further enhance the educational experience.
Other: I chose this course for its unique blend of adventure, discipline, and global career opportunities in the maritime industry. The best aspects include hands-on training, exposure to international cultures, and strong career prospects. However, areas like mental health support, updated training technology, and enhanced extracurricular activities could be improved for a more holistic experience.

The faculty and crowds are the only saving grace, and that's it.
Placements: Haven't been promised any placements yet, still in the first year so no placements yet, and from what I've heard, people have not been offered jobs anyway. There are, however, many outside level internships you can apply to and join, and the faculty understands it.
Infrastructure: Mediocre Wi-Fi, above-average classrooms, and library. The hostel is extremely subpar with below-average food and offering only vegetarian meals for almost every hostel. There are ample opportunities for sports and games, however, with equally well-experienced medical facilities.
Faculty: Top-tier faculty teaching extremely relevant curriculum with fair and equally tough semester exams being held. The teachers are well and above qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is excellent with them finding new and interesting ways to keep the students interested.

The college has extremely good placements and provides a good environment for development.
Placements: The placements at our college are excellent. Almost every student gets placed. Statistically, a total of 95% of our students get placed in top-class merchant companies. The placement department works extremely hard to bring in more opportunities for the cadets.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is on the next level and is best suited for one's overall development and career-related aspects. The course offers intellectual sessions with the Masters of the Sea, which brings in more experience and knowledge of the career. The hostel also provides various perks and is in fairly good condition.
Faculty: The faculty are very friendly. They were easily reachable and willing to help resolve any academic or personal problems that arose. The curriculum provided a well-rounded education, and there were a total of six semesters, each with two exams: a midterm and a final.
Other: I would say that overall this college is excellent, especially if one really wants to pursue a career in the merchant navy.

My college is like a palace in which we can make our dream come true.
Placements: Mainly, there will be 80% of students placed in my course B.Sc. Hons psychology. 10 Lacs is the highest package offered in my course, and the lowest was 4 Lacs. I don't know about the top recruiting companies in my course. But when we do internships, we can go for AIIMS in Delhi or Pune. Maybe 50% of students can get internships .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for your course & hostel are great the facilities hostel provides and is available in my college are like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, fan AC, computers and water coolers. Good quality there is for the facilities in my hostel and college, medical facilities are also there, like there is a vishwaraj hospital for medical issues; There is always university games and intercollegiate competition; and there is also lots of opportunities in my college .
Faculty: The teachers were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They provided clear explanations and were always available for questions. The instructors were qualified, but the teaching quality varied. Some lecturers were more engaging than others. Yes, in my course curriculum, it makes the students industry-ready. Our college makes the question paper for semester exams in the college. The pass percentage is 33%. The teaching was generally good, but some topics were rushed and lacked depth.
Other: I was trained on a vast range of texts and topics, including psychology! I didn't exactly "choose" psychology, but it was designed to assist and provide information on various subjects, including psychology. However, I can tell you why many people choose to study psychology: 1. *Fascination with human behavior*: Psychology helps us understand why people think, feel, and behave in certain ways. 2. *Desire to help others*: Psychology offers ways to improve mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. 3. *Interest in research and science*: Psychology involves studying the human mind and behavior through scientific methods and research. 4. *Career opportunities*: Psychology leads to various career paths, such as counseling, therapy, research, education, and more. 5. Personal growth and self-awareness: Studying psychology can help individuals understand themselves and others better, leading to personal growth and self-awareness. I want to make people feel okay.
