Extortion in college and education not up to date or standard for a M.Sc. Course.
Placements: The only blockchain company that came hire for intern project manager and content writers. There is a app superset in which 5000 plus students apply for jobs by the college. There weren't any jobs relevant to blockchain and weren't more than 50-60 jobs in a year for which the blockchain class is eligible for only 12 of em and they weren't relevant or weren't even in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure but we were'nt even assigned a lab nor we had faculty to teach blockchain in our first year. Ours was the first batch ever to pass out of MIT WPU of M.Sc. Blockchain and teaching wasn't relevant neither good and we didnt even have a teacher who's deeply knowledgeable about blockchain. The teachers we were assigned had their specialty in some other field and were forced to teach us blockchain, Teachers aren't at fault but the college administration who are downright inefficient, sub par and don't give a damn about quality education.
Faculty: Course cirrucullum is as basic and irrelevant as it can be. You can watch youtube Video for a week on Solidity basics, blockchain fundamentals, Mining, Digital Forensics (a subject irrelevant to blockchain with wireshark and stuff), cloud computing (irrelevant), DSA, YOGA and be done with 90 percent of the course.
Other: This college likes to extort money from the students. Mine was a two year Course, Fee structure was changed mid education and was inadequetly communicate, I unknowingly paid my feels for the second year according to my first years structure, and also collected my reciepts from college the very Next day (they never informed that I had paid inncorectly) and cleared my entire feels within 90 days according to the guidelines, I wasn't late for any payments. Despite this, I had 54k in late feels, which with my repeated complain was reduced to 35k then 27k and 23k. College policy clearly states late feels is 250 rs per day for 30 days which is 7500 rs max. When pointed this out to registar's office, I am verbally informed this 250rs per day until the feels is paid which is paid within 90 days. I was First informed of such dues in jan 2024 which is 150 days after the payment of my feels which feels malicious allowing late fee to acculumate without any communication to the student and then informing when the late fee has acculumalated to a very large sum. Now until I pay this 23k I won't recieve my degree. And the policy clearly states is 250rs perday till 30 days. Thanks Rahul and Vishwanath kharad and registar for running this extortion racket for the students.

    Absolutely good college.
Placements: Total, there are 60 students in MSc Microbiology. The highest package is around 6 LPA, and the average we can expect is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Serum Institute India and Reliance Life Sciences. The top roles offered in the course are assistant professor and microbiologist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. There are many facilities like e-bikes to travel inside the campus. The hostel is really good and is spacious, and there are facilities like a gym and a play area. There are many canteens in the campus, and the medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are really well qualified and very supportive. Teaching is really good, and they use different methods for understanding students. The course is relevant, and we also have on-the-job training, internship, and project facilities which will be guided by faculties. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn about microorganisms, which can be present anywhere and everywhere. We can get into biotechnology and microbiology companies with our good skills. Events are really great at MIT. Big fests are conducted, which also have concerts. The campus is green and clean. Extracurricular activities like sports are conducted often.

    Most supportive and helpful faculty.
Placements: Several individuals pursue careers as college lecturers, while others secure positions as data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists. The salary packages offered for these roles typically range from 4 to 18 LPA. As part of our college curriculum, we all have the opportunity to intern at various companies, and I personally had the chance to intern at RG VP Web Solution, where I received a generous stipend. Although there are a limited number of placements available for our course, those who study statistics and relevant software often find themselves being recruited by reputable IT companies.
Infrastructure: MIT is renowned for its exceptional infrastructure and vibrant festivals. The campus boasts state-of-the-art digital classrooms, while the library offers both physical and virtual resources, ensuring access to a wide range of books. Although the hostel is satisfactory, some may find the cost slightly steep. However, the dining facilities and seating arrangements in the mess are top-notch. It is worth noting that there is no medical facility available on campus.
Faculty: The teachers provide excellent support and have a deep understanding of students' issues. Their teaching methods are exceptional. The course curriculum includes both research and theory, which prepares us well for the industry. The semester exams are challenging, requiring a minimum score of 40% in both internal and external assessments.
Other: I got my degree here and know all things about college, so I decided to pursue my Masters here.

    The real-life of MITWPU!
Placements: In MITWPU, a separate Placement Cell is established for the students. During the placement drive, each student is given an opportunity to expose themselves to the companies. They receive interview offers from many companies until the end of the academic year and even after that. Students are offered a maximum package of 20 L. Biotechnology companies around Pune come to the MIT Campus in search of the best students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully equipped with a good ventilation system, Wi-Fi, and digital boards. MIT has a whole different building for the library. The hostel of MITWPU is top-notch, with Wi-Fi in every room, cleaning services, and average food. They also provide bus facilities for students to travel from the campus to the hostel and vice versa.
Faculty: The Department of Biosciences and Technology has the best faculty. They give you much-needed attention, they are always interactive, with immense knowledge about the field. The course curriculum is updated every year according to the industry. The semester exams are not that hard; I would rate them 8/10, as we get assignments every week, and we have a balanced mark sheet.
Other: Campus life in MITWPU is beyond imagination, with a huge number of fests and events. They also have clubs that give you experience beyond your academics.

Review of MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU).
Placements: If we compare our stream with BCA and IT students, our package is very low. We get a 4LPA package, while they get 9LPA. However, the college has 100% placement. Some students are not satisfied with their placement. The college provides more internships than jobs. Many students got two internships, later they switched to good companies. Research intern and biotechnologist are roles.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure has high standards but it is dominated by local students. We have a beautiful environment on our campus. Wi-Fi, drinking water, library, good labs are provided facilities. Hostel fees are very high, not affordable for most students, but its food and facilities are the best. The sports ground is very big, and inter-college competitions events are held.
Faculty: Teachers are the best guides. Two teachers are IIT graduates, and many students are passouts from reputed colleges. Projectors are mainly used for teaching. Our syllabus is very vast. We have balanced lectures and practical sessions for passing with a good score in practical and moral exams is mandatory. 35% is the passing score.

The reality of MIT WPU, Pune.
Placements: The job placements were satisfactory, however, exceptionally talented students were able to secure jobs based on their abilities, while average students faced difficulties in finding employment. A significant 70% of students were successfully placed in renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, IBM, and Infosys, which are prominent hiring organizations. The highest salary package offered was 35lpa, while the lowest was 3.6lpa. Additionally, the college offers an internship program, although most students prefer to find internships on their own. Software development roles are among the top positions offered to students.
Infrastructure: The college has a commendable infrastructure; however, non-Marathi students face difficulties due to the language barrier. The dominance of the local and LGBTQ community within the college should be addressed. While the classrooms are in good condition, the benches have become worn out over time. Unfortunately, the library lacks sufficient book provisions. The hostel fest is quite lively, but the facilities provided, including food and accommodation, are worth the expense. Although the canteen prices are high, the quality of food remains good.
Faculty: Some teachers struggle to teach their core subjects as they find the faculty unhelpful. Additionally, the management is often slow in making last-minute decisions regarding exams. I believe that the curriculum should incorporate the recently introduced subject of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as it is crucial for the future. The exams, both internal and external, are challenging, requiring a minimum score of 40% in each exam.
