Yes, MIT-WPU offers direct admission to the second year of BTech. This course is offered for a duration of three years. Aspirants seeking admission to BTech Lateral Entry course must pass a Diploma in Engineering with 60% aggregate or its equivalent (50% aggregate for reserved category). As per the selection process for this course, the university selects candidates based on their merit obtained in the last qualifying exam, followed by a Statement of Purpose (500 words). This course is offered across the same specialisations of BTech. These are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

For admission to a four-year BTech course at MIT-WPU, aspirants are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the university's norms.
