MIT-WPU offers a conducive campus life for girl students with restricted timing for extracurricular activities and sports facilities. While there are additional expenses for books and eating out, the college provides quality mess food and hygienic cooking arrangements. The attendance policy is strict, but rule breakers are usually given a warning. The college culture is mostly English-speaking, and there is no language challenge. The student support services are good, with designated teachers and student representatives available. For admission to a four-year BTech course at MIT-WPU, aspirants are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the university's norms. Those who are willing to get admission to this course must pass Class 12 with minimum of 50-60% aggregate. They must have studied Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Chemistry/ Technical Vocational/ Biotechnology* as optional subjects.

For candidates belonging to differently-abled categories, backward categories and Maharashtra-state, there is a reduction of five percent. These candidates are required to obtain minimum of 45-55% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of Class 12 in the same subjects as of all.
