Best college for average students but a sub standard college for geniuses.

Placements: The college provides placement to more than 90% of its students. The highest package is 12 lakhs per annum in this year and the average package is 6 lakhs per annum. The lowest package is 4 lakhs per annum in this year. Many multi-national companies visit the campus for placement. In other words, the college provides a good ground for a better future.

MIT Pune review 2014 pass out: average experience.

Placements: The average package is around 4.5lakhs. Research oriented roles are less. Consultancy oriented are also less. Most profiles are for mundane jobs. The complete batch is not placed. You have to be outspoken and smart to make it through. Some good companies like Halliburton and shell do visit, though. Highest salaries are in the range of 13 LPA. Internship scenes are dead, so getting an internship itself is difficult.

Good infrastructure and facilities, but average placements.

Placements: The placements are improving year by year, and there are good core companies as well as non-core companies coming for the placements. Most of my batch was placed and the remaining went ahead for further studies. The companies visiting were Honeywell, Equinox, Praj industries, Hikal etc. As for the summer internship, the students got placed in Reliance, IOCL etc.

The best in ranking among private colleges.

Placements: The placements are pretty good in the IT companies but very limited to the core companies. But, getting a job won't be an issue irrespective of the branch you are in because of the mass recruiters like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, etc. prefer the MIT students. In case you are interested in mainstream core companies like RIL, Halliburton and Cairn, you will have to be an extraordinary student here.

Good infrastructure but bad placement records.

Placements: Forgot about placements, only 2-3 students placed yearly in the technical field. Others who are interested in non-technical IT/Sales field have good scope. Reliance comes every year, but they placed for a sales position. Other companies like HIKAL came for technical positions. All IT companies came for placements like Infosys and Accenture. Around 20% students placed via college campus. Around 50-60 % students got internships during T.E but not paid internships. For placements, you need big re...

Visiting faculty members are far better than in-house faculty members.

Placements: The placements at MITSOB are very good. In my senior batch, almost 85-90% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 6.5 lakhs per annum by Aditya Birla and the lowest salary was 3 lakhs offered by CatenOn. The average salary here is 4.5 lakhs. Last year, companies like Aditya Birla, CatenOn, EatOn, Xebec Communications, Tech Mahindra, Tata Technologies, CCD, Balaji Telefilms had visited the college campus for placements. The role offered to them was more of Sales, Business Developmen...

Overall, the PG course from this college is worth the money. They try to groom every possible aspect of an individual to make him corporate ready. Placements are very decent. They are too rigid in some of their rules such as 90% attendance and proper formal attire.

The campus of the college is good but placements are below average wherein facilities provided are good enough but as looking at the fees and the average salary given by the campus is not up to the mark. I wouldn't suggest anyone if he is looking for good return on investment by joining this institution.

MITSOB is among one of the best colleges in Pune in terms of their rules and regulations as the rules are strict are not meant to be broken here. The faculty members are good and the placements here are above average but it depends on the quality of the students. Opportunities come around for self-grooming, which just need to be taken by the students here.

The knowledge provided to the students is in accordance to the market and industry. There are other activities held other than academic which helps a student to be entrepreneurs in future.

The college is good and the crowd which comes here is very knowledgeable. The professors are amazing and this college follows Harvard Patten of learning which is really amazing. There are cases, tutorials and lectures of all the subjects they teach here. The infrastructure is good. Canteen isn't available but there's lot of shops which sell food outside the campus. Placements are best here as compared to the other colleges.

Infrastructure:- Campus is situated in a nice location in a Kothrud where climate is mostly humid. Classroom and labs are well equipped. There is lag in hostel facility for boys as it has 60 seats only. Sports facility is quiet okay. Placement :presently highest package is of 16 lakhs per annum and average of 5 lakhs per annum and placement is mainly 95%. Faculty: All faculty members are hard working and cooperative, except 2-3 exceptions.
