This college loves the word 'mandatory' more than anything!

Placements: They privatised the college in 2017 and our batch of B.Sc. computer science was the golden batch of this course. They promised us that 100% students will get placed but sadly that didn't happened. The companies that came were good but they were limited. The highest package offered was 3.5 lac something. Also college didn't provide any internship.

It is a good college with excellent placements. However, it could be much more for the money paid.

Placements: In ECE, around 70% of the students were placed in the final year. The rest went for higher studies or preparation for other exams. The highest salary package offered in the ECE department was 37.26 LPA by Rakuten. The entire country lacks core electronic companies, and this college is no exception. The lowest salary offered was 3.6 LPA. Major recruiters are IT firms like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Roles vary from proper electronics engineer to even IT system engineer. During the 4 years of th...

Overall it gives a good experience.

Placements: The highest salary package offered after BBA is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, KPMG, Capgemini, Mahindra, Tries Vista, and First-cry. Our college also provides internship opportunities which matter a lot and is a part of the curriculum.

MIT is a perfect place to establish a network.

Placements: The placement system here is the same for all the 5 BBA courses, but it is not reliable. Even our senior batch said the same. We were told that the highest package would go up to 5.5 LPA, but no focus was given to that afterwards. At least for the BBA department, there are no top companies for recruitment. This is my third (final) year, and I have no knowledge of the placements that would supposedly take place. My class has a specialisation in event management, so mostly, event management compan...

MIT WPU is a good college in terms of facilities, guidance and subject knowledge of the teachers.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from CS and IT branches got placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. All students of our batch got internships for at least 3 months. Other branches got 6 months of internship opportunities, and some of them also got paid stipends. Students here get industry experience.

Infrastructure is good, but academics are poor.

Placements: Most of the openings are for sales and business development. Students are given the choice of specialisation in banking and finance, costing and marketing, but jobs aren't offered in the field of specialisation. Placements are from companies like Wipro, Northern Trust and eClerx, but no filter is applied at the college level. A student of marketing specialisation can apply to the role of financial analyst, etc. Faculty members don't encourage students to participate in placement drives.

There are good infrastructure and faculty members, but the placements are below average.

Placements: Not even a single core company visited our college to offer jobs for B.Tech in civil course. We were informed that core companies would visit here in the month of January. Even February is also going to end, but none of the companies has visited yet. Although the placements for CS and ENTC are good, as said by my friends of those streams.

Facilities and opportunities are very good.

Placements: The placement process is easy. Even our college has eased in the internship process, which gives us the convenience to choose companies. The batch from WPU hasn't passed out yet, but before, the highest salary package offered was around 13.5 LPA.
