Useful Degrees of MSU, MSU is a very popular university.
Placements: In my year, there were around 240 students. In my course, I don’t know the exact highest and lowest packages offered. In my course, many recruiting companies came, and many students got internships. From our course, about 50 to 60% of students got placed. Many companies came and gave jobs and internships for our experience. At the end of the year, our college gave two options: project or internship, and most students chose the internship because it gave more experience.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities like Wi-Fi, AC in labs, classrooms with projectors, and a library for issuing books. The hostels are very good and clean. They have one switchboard, one fan, three beds, and three cupboards. There’s one common balcony between two rooms. The food is about 40% good. Medical facilities are free for MSC Baroda students. Sports, games, and extracurricular activities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is the best. The course is very relevant, and they make students capable of doing jobs in IT hubs. The semester exams are not that hard, but challenging enough that students can learn. The pass rate is around 70 to 80% in my course.
Other: I chose this course because of my own profession. I like technology, computers, and all that stuff. The best thing about my course is technology. There is nothing to improve in my course. There are many events, fests, and a campus crowd. Scholarships and surrounding activities are available in my college.

Should you go for MSU Baroda!
Placements: The top roles that are offered in my course are junior software engineer, data scientist, data analyst, ethical hacker, and web developer. As far as I know, there are many more jobs available in this field so you can work on yourself and get the best out of yourself.
Infrastructure: The quality and facilities that are provided are quite good; you can rely on them. The food provided in the mess is hygienic and tasty. There are sabzi roti and dal chawal every day. The menu changes daily so you don't have to worry about the variety of food.
Faculty: The teachers here are very kind and supportive; they will definitely help you out. And they are highly knowledgeable, too. So yes, they are great. Also, the HOD sir is very frank and you will just love talking to him. Exams are moderate and not that tough.
Other: I chose this course I was into programming. I love to do programming. This university is a government university and a degree would be worthy. The events are not frequent.

Absolutely Satisfied Because of the Good Campus Environment.
Placements: There are a total of 120 students in my division. The highest package till date is around 1.4 crores, as far as I've heard, and the lowest package is around 2 lakhs per annum. The average package is around 4.5 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are MNCs like Microsoft, Google, and Intel. 75% of students have got internships, and the companies were mostly local IT firms. Top roles offered are project manager or senior software engineer.
Infrastructure: We're provided with practical labs, smart classrooms, and a massive library with a huge collection of books related to all courses and programs available at my university. The quality of facilities at the hostel is pretty decent from what I've heard. I don't stay at the hostel, so I don't know much, but it depends. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is really good, and there are places specifically for sports and games if someone is interested. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, very helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is really great, and they are very supportive also. The curriculum is relevant, though it can be improved due to the industry evolving with AI at a massive rate. But yes, it's enough to make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is pretty moderate. With enough preparation, anyone can pass the exams, and the passing percentage is also good, around 85%.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in CS for a long time. The best thing about this course is that it's available for all streams. The thing which would improve my course would be the addition of AI and machine learning used in industries. The events are held throughout the year, and the campus surroundings are pretty good (especially the environment). Scholarships are available for those who need them, and extracurricular activities like sports and event management are also available.

Nice overall, but a little dissatisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In my years, 150 main batch and 130 other batch students were placed in from about 3000 students, and the minimum package was INR 3 LPA and the average was INR 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, White Hat Junior, and others. About 70% of people got internships in companies like TCS, Dots, and Comes, as well as some other top roles like software engineer and full stack developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure, as the college is a little old, can be said to be average, but the college tries to maintain it in good condition. Labs are good, but due to the old computers, we may face problems sometimes doing lab examinations. The library is nice, and the canteen is also a nice place to relax and eat, but I prefer home-made food for its affordability and health.
Faculty: Yes, as of now, the IT sector is booming, and it really helps to have such a degree to expand, and since it's a government college, it helps get ahead easily compared to peers pursuing the same degree. Passing scores are 4 CGPA+ and 7 CGPA+ distinction. Semesters are a little difficult at first, but it's all good later. Later, it gets a little difficult and causes problems in time management, so it will be better if students learn and focus from the start, and it helps at the later part. Yes, students get perfectly ready to compete with the competitive market and provide open source software with some value to contribute to society.
Other: I'm really interested in programming and technology. The best things are that we can produce our own tools to do work and have a better understanding and guidance in future technology workings. I wish there were some more options in subjects and also a little improved faculty that knows current market skill requirements for students. There are nice events and fun with friends and other sports events, and we also provide a pavillion for sports and health scholarships. Help is given to categorized students, as well as some general and real-life applications of the things we learn.

It is a very good college and has secured first rank in Gujarat.
Placements: Around 20% of students got placed with a salary package of 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Reliance, TCS, Infosys, and other local companies visit our college for placements. Around 50% of students got internships in TCS, Infosys, and local software companies. The top role offered is a full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good. Our college provides a very good environment for students. There are many old buildings for other courses. Our department was implemented 5-6 years ago, so it is new and fresh. Wi-Fi, labs, a canteen, and a library are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and good at teaching. As we know, it's a college. We have to be mature as it is not a school. There are two exams each semester. One is a mid-semester exam, and the other is the final semester exam. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Our college conducts many extracurricular activities like Cyberia, dancing, singing, etc.
