This is the best of college in Gujrat for those who want to grow in life.
Placements: The M.Sc. department of Statistics gets the highest placement package in faculty of Science. In our department, 80% students are placed with a good package in a good company. The highest placement package is 6.75 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 4 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Nelson, NelsonIQ, Numerator, Bank, Tantra, NelsonMedia, etc. All the above companies are providing internship in their company. 80% of students gets internship in top companies. Further, Faculty of Science organizes summer internship also (one month internship under good professor). Top roles offered by companies are Data Scientist, Data analyst, Python Developer, Data processing Specialist (DPS) and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Free Wi-Fi in the whole campus (hostel and College both) is there. Good Computer labs and for other departments, practical Labs are there too. The classrooms are good too. One general library and one personal departmental library are there. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda provides hostels facilities (8 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel with canteen facilities). One MSU health centre for whole University is there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified. The course curriculum is the best in the Gujarat and other outer state college. Difficulty levels of exam is average. Passing marks for 3 or 4 credit course is 40 out of 100. And 1 or 2 credit course is 20 out of 50.
Other: This course is the future of new world, that's why I chose this course (statistics). Our batch is very smart. I think 90% students will placed in top company. University held Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, campus Surrounding, Scholarship and extracurricular activities etc.

It is the best and extraordinary infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: The placement are one of the best in India. The average package given by the MNC is 19 LPA. Being an IIT describes that this years top Placement was from the mathematics computing about 1.2 crore. More over average placements of CSC are good round 25 LPA for the electronic students the package is around 14-15 LPA. The lowest package is goes around 9-10 LPA. Overall the placement is very nice.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure, it is not usually expect from IIT because of many reasons. It has been the oldest universities and has an open campus, so the things arelike that. But if u come here, you will enjoy the vast campus life naturally. Its genuinely speaking about its infrastructure.
Faculty: All the courses are manageable and easy going, so you will find it fun studying in a college. We do not have to write the whole practical life, and it is just a long paper sheer. Moreover, the papers are not external, everything is checked within the college by our professors and are shown after checking just like the school. The all faculty members are the best and kind.
Other: It is very good and the best campus.

Best college in Gujarat, if you want a degree in statistics.
Placements: The placement for 2016 batch was relatively better as the university directed to form placement committee for each department. Communication and soft skill courses were provided to students to improve their chance to get placed in good MNC Companies. Companies that approached for placements are TCS, Nielsen, Torrent pharma etc.
Infrastructure: The statistics department has a well-equipped computer lab to give hands-on experience to students on various software. One can learn R, Python, SAS, Rapid miner, C+ etc., here. The Hansa Mehta library is in proximity. The department also has its library where students can spend some quality time with books. The classes are spacious and good with natural lights.
Faculty: The course covered mostly core statistics. However, industry-relevant courses like six Sigma quality technique, data mining, database management and pattern recognition are the courses available, and I will recommend others to opt it. The professors have good experience of teaching. Audio visual aids were used to demonstrate and teach as per requirement. The course had two seminars and two project submission to complete the course. Also, the department is encouraging the students to get internships, and different companies provide internships opportunity to students.
