    Q:   Does NALSAR Hyderabad offer LLM?

    Yes, NALSAR University of Law offers one-year LLM programme in a full-time mode. The course admission is entrance-based. Candidates are admitted to the PG course based on CLAT score. Candidates who meet the CLAT cutoff become eligible for participation in the counselling round. NLU or seats in the university is allotted through this round. To take admission in this course, aspirants should apply on the CLAT website.

    In order to be admitted to NALSAR University of Law's Master of Laws (LLM) program, applicants must have earned at least 50% of their LLB or its equivalent. SC/ST candidates need to receive a minimum of 45% in their scores.

    Nalsar University being a law university, ( which is located in Hyderabad ) offers degrees in different courses such as BA LLB (Hons) and LLM. Nalsar University is a well know university because of its good placement history . Its been continously giving good placements for a long time now. Year 2023 was not much different, where BA LLB (Hons) students got a median Package of 16 LPA with roughly 81% students placed, and LLM students fetched a median package of 7 LPA with nearly 73% students were placed . 

    A total of 96 students out of 118 students from BA LLB (Hons) were placed, and 48 students out of 66 students from LLM were placed to be precise.

The exam authority will publish the admission notification for CLAT 2026 with details of syllabus, exam pattern and events on the official website. The CLAT Exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.

    LLM is one of the popular courses of NALSAR University of Law. Talking about the placements, 48 out of 66 students were successfully placed in the recent placement drive. The median package offered to LLM students was INR 7 LPA. As per the NIRF report, the package was same as in 2021.

    Q:   How much is CLAT 2026 application fee?

    A: 

    The application fee for CLAT exam was different as per the category of a candidate. For General/OBC/PWD/PIO/OCI/NRI, the application fee was INR 4,000 and for SC/ST/BPL category, the application fee was INR 3,500. Extra charges of INR 500 were applicable if candidates wanted to obtain previous years' CLAT question papers from the exam authority. Apart from CLAT application fee and cost of question paper bundle, candidates had to pay any other charges.

    Q:   What is the eligibility for LLM through CLAT at NALSAR University of Law?

    NALSAr University of Law offers admission to LLM programme through CLAT score. To get admission to the LLM programme, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

    1. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (For candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PwD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI category),
    or
    2. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate (For candidates belonging to SC/ ST category). 
    Note: There is no age limit criteria for admission to LLM programme. Provided, if two candidates score's same marks in CLAT paper, then the candidate of higher age is given preference at the time of admission to the university.
