It is the number 1 university for law.

Faculty: The course is extremely rigorous but perfect with top-notch teachers from universities like Harvard and Oxford. It makes students industry-ready and work in all fields. Exams are difficult but students can pass if they study every day. The pass percentage is around 90%.

NLSIU- Best Law College in INDIA

Faculty: NLSIU has been the best law college in INDIA, 8 years running, largely due to it's excellent curriculum. The trimester system, unique to NLSIU, makes the curriculum rigorous and the best in the country. The faculty too are world class, with all of them being experienced, knowledgeable and the best in their fields. The exams too are pretty tough with the highest marks awarded in the finals being about 42 out of 60. It is required of all students to maintain a C+ grade or about 45% to pass a semes...

Satisfied with the overall curriculum, really good infrastructure and facilities food quality is ok.

Faculty: The faculty is well educated though not sure if they're cut for being teachers. However, the course curriculum is made keeping law and BA subjects in mind and it makes the students industry ready. Most of the subjects are based on practical knowledge. Here, they follow a Socratic method of teaching which is very different from the kind of teaching in school.

Review of National Law School of India University, Bangalore.

Faculty: If you think college is not only about studies and extracurricular activities, then you won't like NLS. The whole trimester is jammed up with projects, vivas, moots, negos, exams, etc. It's quite hectic at times. After a while, you get used to it.

Decent return of investment.

Faculty: The course curriculum is well designed. We were given the course outline at the beginning of the course. The faculty members for most of the subjects are quite good. Apart from that, there are several courses regularly offered by an expert in the field. This helps us in giving practical knowledge apart from theoretical one.

Our college has amazing placements and facilities.

Faculty: Old teachers on campus are quite helpful. Most of them have done their LLMs abroad. They are quite knowledgeable too. The course is quite relevant to law. It follows a socratic method where students engage the discussion. Semester exams are neither so difficult nor so easy. A lot of faculty members were hired recently so I can't say much about their expertise.

Faculty: The faculty in National Law School of India University are the best. They are very supportive and ready to help us at any time. They are highly qualified and are graduated from the colleges like Oxford. The strength of our class is 80, and the faculty care for each of us. Overall, the faculty are awesome.

Satisfied with the National law school of India University.

Faculty: The faculty is highly experienced and helpful. The curricular is innovative and up to date. A Socratic method is used to teach in the class along with the specially curated reading material so as to make the course curricular relevant to the changing times. The focus is on the practical application and the professional experience. Due to the system of electives students, we also have an opportunity to choose their subjects and faculty which is not possible in other law colleges.

NlS is considered to be one of the best colleges for legal education in the country and it certainly lives up to that reputation. The campus is small but green and pretty. The infrastructure could be better. The faculty is a bit of a mixed bag with some excellent and some slightly below average professors. The peer interaction makes for the best learning experience here.

Absolutely satisfied with every single thing in college.

Faculty: The course is really well designed, with the topics having real world relevance. We had Sociology 1, Economics 1, Torts and Legal Methods. Sociology was the best designed- with all the topics relevant to real word applications. Economics 1 I felt was a little rushed, We had microeconomics, but I felt like it would've been better if this was taughtover two semesters instead of one. For Torts we relied more on case lawns and a little on commentaries, with professors guiding us on how to interpret ...

A review of NLSIU Bangalore.

Faculty: Around 40% is the passing percentage of the examination to get entered into the next semester. Otherwise, we have to apply for the exam again and it is a really tough process to repeat the exam. It wastes our 7 months by reappearing in the same semester.

They help every student for their internship programs and give consulting at time of need. The faculty is positive in nature.

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 15174 in CLAT, it is unlikely to gain admission to NLSIU Bangalore or NALSAR University of Law, as both institutions are highly competitive and typically have cutoffs much lower than this. For example, NLSIU's cutoff for the general category is often within the top 10
