NLAT Cancelled, all admission in all NLUs is via CLAT.
The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore will conduct the counselling-cum admission process of NLAT 2020 in an online mode. The counselling process will be done after the declaration of results for NLAT 2020. For the admission process, NLSIU Bangalore will send the provisional admission list by email to all the registered candidates. Candidates shortlisted for the admission process can send their documents via email or upload on the official website through login. The details of the NLAT 2020 admission process will be shared by the exam authority once the results are announced.
NLAT 2020 Counselling Process
The counselling process details will be shared by the exam authority to the candidates only. The admission process of NLAT 2020 will be as under:
Declaration of results and admission list
The exam authority will declare the results and, also prepare a merit list for each category. The provisional admission list will be shared with the shortlisted candidates on their registered email ID. The details of the counselling process and, how to participate in the admission process will be shared by the exam authority on the same email address.
Admission confirmation and documents submission by candidates
Candidates who will be shortlisted according to the merit list have to confirm their admission as per the process shared by the exam authority. They will also need to send the required documents and, pay the admission fee in online mode only.
This is a mandatory step and, only the candidates paying the admission fee will be confirmed for the allotted seat.
Seat allotment
The seat allotment process will begin after provisional admission formalities are completed. The seats will be allotted as per the reservation criteria of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

NLAT 2020 Seat Reservation Criteria
The seat intake for undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be as under:

The seat reservation of UG will include 'Six(6) seats comprising 5% of the total intake shall be reserved horizontally for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Up to 25% of total seats in each vertical reservation category, subject to a maximum of Thirty (30) students, shall be admitted under the horizontal institutional preference for “Karnataka Students”
The seat reservation of PG courses will include "Two (2) seats in Business Law and One (1) seat in Human Rights Law comprising 5% of the total intake shall be reserved horizontally for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Upto 25% of total seats in each vertical reservation category, subject to a maximum of Thirteen (13) students, shall be admitted under the horizontal institutional preference for “Karnataka Students”
