Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for BBA students at NRTI?

    A:
    {Source: BBA students & alumni}

    Success Rate of Placement Cell

Based on the available information, here's what we can conclude:

    * First Batch: The first batch of students will pass out in 2021, and therefore, no data is available yet regarding the success rate of the placement cell.
    * Chairman's Promise: The chairman of the railway board, Vinod Kumar Yadav, has promised 100% placements for NRTI students.
    * Expected Salary Package: Students can expect an average salary package of INR4 LPA - INR5 LPA.
    * No Permanent Campus: Due to the lack of a permanent campus, students are accommodated on a shared campus with NAIR and HSRTI.

It appears that while there isn't concrete data available on the placement cell's success rate, the chairman's promise suggests a strong commitment towards ensuring employability for its students. Once the first batch passes out, we may get a clearer picture of the placement cell's performance.

    It was a good experience.
Placements: Mostly private companies, software companies, and no government job placement companies like Patanjali, TCS, and some other private companies are offering jobs. All the packages are pretty low, mostly around 2.5 lacs to 1 lacs per annum, and it was not really a good placement.
Infrastructure: Not completely university-owned buildings, but the infrastructure was nice and lively, and it was with the railway offices, so it was a very good place, and it has Wi-Fi facilities, and the visiting professors are very highly knowledgeable. The timings are very low compared to any other degree colleges.
Faculty: Visiting faculty members are top NIT and IIT professors, and of course, they are very highly knowledgeable, and they teach pretty well for the time they are on campus. They will visit 3-4 times a week depending on their availability and time, and it has a trimester curriculum.
Other: It's average; mostly, it was the funding year of the university.

Review of National Rail and Transportation Institute.
Placements: Placements are average in our course. Recruiters typically offer appropriate profiles from logistics and supply chain industries. The minimum salary package offered was 4 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: This institute does not have a fixed campus. As a result, students are given access to accommodation options on campus that are shared with NAIR and HSRTI. Hostels are good. A new laboratory is also available. NAIR and NRTI both have access to the same library. Wi-Fi is available on our campus but occasionally it goes down because they shared with Indian Railway officers. There are some restrictions on the use of sports facilities. The food served in a mess is better.
Faculty: Professors are average in our college. They are well-qualified from IITs, ISBs, IIMs, etc. All permanent faculty members have PhDs from IITs. Our course curriculum is dynamic and constantly changes in response to the student's needs. Semester exams are moderate. Some topics in exams can be challenging, and more than 10% of students do not perform well during end-term exams.
Other: It is a diversified college for students.

Awesome College For Career In Transportation Sector .
Placements: Placements depend on the students; the college is doing its best to provide placement. About 7-8 students were getting placed out of 50, with the highest package of about 15 Lacs. Many companies from the transport sector visit our campus to offer placements.
Infrastructure: Some students live on campus, but one building is off-campus. The hostel is of the best quality in the country. The hostel facilities are air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping services, but on a triple-sharing basis. The college also provides a subscription to the NAIR library.
Faculty: The course structure of the college is the best and most modern, and the faculty members who take the course are the best/expert in their domain. The best part is that the college course structure focuses on soft and technical skills. It is a little easy to pass the exams if you have attended all the classes easily.

Review of National Rail and Transportation Institute.
Placements: Placements depend on students. The college is doing its best to provide placements. About 7 or 8 students out of 50 are placed with the highest salary package of 15 LPA. Many companies from the transport sector visit our campus to offer placements. Around 100% of students got internships in railway, PSUs, and top private companies.
Infrastructure: Third-year boys and all girls live on the campus, and FY-SY boys live in the hostel outside the campus. Hostel facilities are the best in the whole country. Each room is provided with proper furniture, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a geyser. Classrooms are good with proper sitting arrangements, air conditioners, and a screen board. All kinds of sports are played, but there is a time constraint. The food is very good as compared to other colleges in India.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and experienced. Teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams in this college is above average. There are two semesters in one year. Each semester consists of 3–4 months. Grading is based on the CGPA system.
Other: I chose this course because it is related to the transport industry, and the demand for experts in this industry has been increasing over the years. The best thing about our course is that the syllabus is not heavy and there is no pressure to study. Students get time to prepare for other exams. I wish the schedule of our course could have been better. There are different clubs in the college which organise different events and workshops constantly. Financial aid is also available.
