I am satisfied because it has great college life, facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Our seniors did not have a great experience in placements. The highest package offered was 8 LPA in the web development field, which isn't even for our course. The student got placed on his own. The average package offered was 4 LPA. However, the best part is that PSUs like DFCCIL, RVNL and RITES also come for recruitment. In the previous year, we didn't have a placement officer. There was only a placement committee and an internship committee made by students and some professors. This yaer, we have a proper placement officer, and we have also completed internships at great companies like Hapag Lloyd, Ullu Bikes, and also at some PSUs. Most of the jobs are in the operation manager department.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are amazing. We have air-conditioning and LAN facilities in every room. We have common rooms and amazing sports facilities. A new hostel is being constructed.
Faculty: The professors are great. All of them are ex-faculty members of IITs and IIMs, with massive experience. We get to know amazing personalities. But most of the professors are visiting faculty members, and very few of them are permanent. The problem with the visiting faculty is that they are really busy and can't stay in the college forever.

Campus life is excellent, but placements are not good.
Placements: The first batch had good placements, but after this batch, only 9 out of 100 students got placements. The MS/MBA students have good placements but lower salary packages. Next year, the B.Tech batch will be ready for work. After that, BBA or B.Sc., students have no more chances of placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good. Common rooms are well furnished and clean like hotel rooms. Classrooms are well furnished and we have a shared NAIR library, so library facilities are good. Mess food is good. The college doesn't provide a canteen.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very good and most of them are visiting faculty from different IITs/IIMs and NITs, etc. The curriculum is not well structured. We face some problems. We have different types of courses like project management, economics, principal and information systems, etc. The course duration is very short. So we are not called masters in the course. We learn basic things only.
Other: NRTI is a newly established college so fests, events, etc., are not very interesting but they provide a lot.

Great faculty, Amazing infrastructural facilities, good placement and a beautiful college campus.
Placements: The placement has majorly to do with the overall performance of the students and the batch as a whole. Around 10-11 students were getting placed out of 50. The highest package was around 12 Lacs. Companies from all over the country visited our college to hire students. As for the internships, top PSUs along with Indian Railways provided placement to us.
Infrastructure: The hostel we live in is honestly outside the college campus, but it's the best in the country. We have rooms on each floor, spacious rooms where we stay on a triple-sharing basis, a wi-fi connection, and a beautiful garden amidst all. The mess facility is also at par with most top colleges in India, but the only downside is it's completely vegetarian so far.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are renowned professors from IITs, Items, and other prestigious universities. Quality of education is no doubt a 10 for me. We have internships at the end of the first and second year at Indian railways and other central PSUs. So that also helps. In terms of the schedule, we have a semester system that was converted from the previous trimester system. We also have a library with all sorts of books from various domains.
Other: The course B.Sc. in Transport Technology is unique and looks at how the transport sector has been booming recently. I feel the program is worth it all. I feel the course runs faster, which is fine considering the overall distribution of the academic year. We have sports competitions, workshops for dancing and singing, and very enthusiastic club activities.

It is the first transportation institute in India.
Placements: Most students are placed in different transportation-based companies. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA to 15 LPA and the lowest is around 4.6 LPA. DFC, Birla Logistics, Adani Ports, etc., are the top recruiters. Nearly 90% of students get internships. Transportation technologists and analysts are the top roles.
Infrastructure: Everything is available here, including Wi-Fi, LAN, labs for experiments and practical testing, air-conditioned classrooms, and the NAIR Library, which gives you an EMC-based library card. The campus is shared with NAIR, so the sports complex and hostel facilities are top-class with a minimum fee. The same goes for the mess.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly IIT and IIM graduates or directors. They have experience in teaching and immense knowledge. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant and will make you industry-ready as internships provided by the college help us grow more practically. Semester exams in this college are reasonably tough, as in any other government college, and the passing percentage is dependent on the 1/3 of total marks, but grading is dependent on the relative marking scheme.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in railways and other transportation ways from class 2. In my family, there are many people working in the transportation industry. The best thing about our course is that it allows me to explore more about new transportation technology and different internships at different transportation companies. Removing a few unnecessary subjects from the first year will improve this course. You can see plenty of events and fests. The connectivity between people and clubs is also good. The campus surroundings are great. You can get financial aid based on your family income and scores.

Our college is new for undergrads and postgraduates.
Placements: All the students get placed with the average salary package of 4 LPA. Major companies are the transportation and infrastructure ones. Companies like L&T, Railtel, Rites, Adani, Siemens, Happag Llyod, Agarwal packers, and movers come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped. There is a library with a big collection of books. Hostel and sports facilities are good but not the mess food. There are badminton courts, volleyball, football, and cricket. Swimming pool is also available.
Faculty: Courses are completely new and related to supply chain and logistics. It is relevant to the new degree and can be useful while going for an MBA in supply chain management. Exams are not that difficult and can be easily cleared. The pass percentage is high.

I'm highly satisfied with campus, hostel, mess, teachers and other facilities provided in 2019-2020.
Placements: Currently, none of the batches has passed out of our college, but the scope for jobs after graduation is high. All the students got internships under Indian Railways during the summer vacations, and we are delighted with the opportunities provided to us. Our college provides internship opportunities at the end of every year.
Infrastructure: Our college has a computer lab, rail model room, NAIR library and separate classrooms for all the batches or courses. Wi-Fi facility is available in the academic building, mess and hostels. Hostel rooms are really spacious and have attached bathrooms, air-conditioners and other furniture. We are provided with top quality food in the mess. Medical facilities of the NAIR dispensary and Pratap Nagar Railway hospital are provided to us. There are football and cricket ground, badminton court, volleyball court and basketball courts.
Faculty: There are top-class faculty members to teach us. They are really helpful, qualified and available. Their quality of teaching is high and well planned. The course curriculum is very relevant and helps in making students industry-ready. Students are sometimes divided into groups to do their assignments which provide them with a better aspect of learning from each other.
Other: This course has a comprehensive structure and is well planned. Subjects are really helpful and prepare us for the world outside. In the beginning, we did some courses to improve our soft skills which really helped in improving our communication skills effectively. Events are conducted regularly by different clubs. The connectivity to our college through the railway, bus and air mode are available easily and are comfortable and affordable. Campus surroundings are magnificent with the Pratap Vilas palace inside the campus. Scholarships are provided to students who belong to economically weaker families, but students have to maintain a constant CGPA to avail it.
