STEP 2: Selection Process

Nirma University admission to most of the courses is entrance-based. Candidates are shortlisted based on national or state-level entrance exam like CAT for MBA, JEE Main/ GUJCET for BTech, CMAT for MCA and others. For some courses, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Personal interview is also conducted for BBA, MBA and other courses.

STEP 3: Release of selection list

After the selection rounds are over, the university releases a merit list with the names of the students selected for admission to the respective course.

STEP 4: Payment of Admission Fee

The shortlisted candidates recieve an admission offer. After the final selection release, aspirants can confirm their seats by paying the admission fee.

To get admission to BArch or BTech specialisations at Nirma University through JEE Main, a student must acquire the required rank. To get admission to BArch, General Home State category, a candidate must have a rank of 12057. For the General Home State category candidates, the cutoff for BArch was closed at 22002.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on Jul 30, 2024. Nirma University BTech total tuition fee ranges between INR 9.2 lakh and INR 11.3 lakh.
