Placements: The Placements for my batch has not yet started. Though, some students from Computer and one from IT got summer Internship at Morgan Stanley. One from IT got summer Internship at Goldman Sachs and One from computer got at Amazon India. Placements for seniors were pretty good. Most of them were placed and average package is I think 3.5-4 Lacs. Many companies visited and in odd sem almost every day there are interviews or some placement related activities going on. There is placement cell here cal...
Placements: Placements are quite high in Instrumentation & Control (IC) Engineering as it is available in very few colleges. Demand for IC engineers is increasing day by day as no field is complete without control. It's really a good branch to explore a lot of new & interesting things.
Placements: Placements were not satisfactory. The batch of 120 students was only visited by very less number of core field recruiters. The highest package - Rs. 4.5 Lacs per annum Average package - 3.2 Lacs per annum the lowest package - Rs. 2 Lacs per annum Non-core companies provided the highest package up to Rs. 11 Lacs per annum Major recruiters were ITC hotels, Future's First, Mu Sigma, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, RKC Infra, VMS consultant, L&T, Line etc. amongst many others.
Placements: Placements are decent enough, as being only into the 10th year of its establishment, the graduates are bagging an average pay of about 6-8 LPA. Many PPOs are also given to our graduates. In the recent times, the campus recruitment cell is one of the most active cells too.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, the placement is not even 50% even in this year. Last year it was up to 65%. The highest package last year was I think 8-9 lacs. All the students got internship at one or different industries. We are not given sripend at the companies. However IPR has been given an opportunity to do internship there and get paid in form of stipend. RS 10000 per month.
Placements: The college did not provide satisfactory placements as per the standards of the college's other departments. Very less number of companies came to the campus for core civil engineering profile. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 5 Lacs per annum whereas the lowest salary offered was Rs. 1.8 Lacs per annum. The average salary was around Rs. 3.2 Lacs per annum. Apart from Civil Department, there were some companies like Future's first, Goldman Sachs, Mu Sigma, Morgan Stanley etc. Who provid...
Placements: Placements takes places from tge 9th semester for the students who have registered for the same. Avg. Package is 5-6 Lacs per annum. Mostly students get PPOs. Alumni are working at Supreme Court and various other High Courts. Apart from this placement in the field of IPR and Corporate law is good. A person with good internships will definatly be placed.
Placements: Placements for my senior batch was below average. Many companies that used to hire from Nirma, did not come this year. There has been a declining trend over the past years when it comes to placements. With about a month left for the batch of 2018 to graduate, only 42 out of 120 students have been placed. It is, however, not to say that the faculty members have not been trying enough. Innovative steps are being taken to ensure that placements are revived.
Placements: The placements for civil engineering were not very good. Hardly 2-3 core civil companies visited the campus. The placement drive was not upto the mark as you expect from one the best colleges of Gujarat. The case was similar with our senior batch. All the students placed from my batch were placed in non civil companies.
Placements: The placements of college are not upto the mark. Don't get blinded by thr CRC department as it's only there for below average placements that too for a CGPA of 8+. So placements are mostly self managed in this college Also that crc helps in internships which are compulsory after every semester.
Placements: Placements are quite good at Nirma University as the trends show in past few years. Some IT giants like Amazon, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, recruited students for a hefty internship of 75 thousand and a placement of around 12-19 Lacs PA. Other companies like INTEL, ARM, QUALCOMM, MU SIGMA were there for EC students and offered 10+ LPA to the students. Around 8-10 students were recruited by Intel from both Bachelors and Masters programme separately. Other Marketing job offers from Searce and Futur...
Placements: In the computer engineering, the highest placement for the batch of 2018 is INR 22 lac per annum by Goldman Saches. Other recruiters include Morgan Stanley, Amazon (With two profiles being software developer and cloud support), HSBC (With two profiles), Deutche Bank, Samsung, MuSigma and so on. Apart from that, there are mass recruiters like Infosys and TCS too. Future First is one of the non tech companies to visit the campus. Apart from that, there is a plethora of other companies to visit the...
Placements: Placements we're better for our batch compared to our senior batch of 15-17, the highest package was around 10 both the years and the lowest was 5, a lot of BFSI companies visited campus and various roles were offered such as wealth manager, relationship manager, etc. A majority of students got internship from college though many themselves opt out from placements, the highest stipend was around 35k and the lowest was nil. There is student driven placement cell and also alumni relation committee...
Placements: The placements are good for the computer and IT departments, but in the civil department, the placements in the technical field are less. For other departments, there are good placement opportunities for students. Many core and non-core companies come here for placements and provide good packages.
Placements: The college is best for marketing majors students as at Nirma, the majority of the companies visiting for placement are marketing companies. The highest package offered last year was 14.5 Lacs per annum by Hindustan Unilever Limited. The profile offered to the majority of the students is sales profile. Many companies from banking and insurance sector visit here for placement. The average package is 7-7.5 Lacs p. a. Overall, it is a decent college with decent placements. Regarding the internships...
Placements: The college is black marked from companies because students aren't interested in placement. They prefer higher studies like GRE, CAT or GATE. So, placement is rare, but still, you'll get placed if you are really interested. But you may not get in the core civil company. Placement cell is good.
Placements: The placements of the college have been increasing in the last couple of years. This year, the campus recruitment committee is working with more enthusiasm which is seen in their efforts which they are putting to get their students placed. Not only this, but they are also helping the other students to get good internships also. The way they are working right now show that the number of placements is going to increase.
Placements: I am a second-year student of mechanical engineering, and till now, the average placement of the branch is around 4-5 lacs per annum. Many companies like L&T, Mahindra, and others visit the campus for placements. The highest package from our branch was 9 lacs per annum, and people from SAE BAJA get a very big opportunity to get great internships and off-campus placements.
Placements: I have not placed from this university, but I got an internship in other local company. About placement, if you have good knowledge, apparently you can get placed in the best companies, but the other side of the placements from this college is, they cannot provide 100% placements. The college fees and others are expensive.
Placements: About 80% of the batch was placed initially. The highest package was Rs. 15 LPA. The median package was Rs. 8 LPA. The average package was Rs. 8,10,000 per annum. About 100% of the batch was placed at the end.
