Placements: The III cell which looks over placements and external affairs with companies is mediocre in its entirety. The companies like Maruti Suzuki, Ford, and some other local companies provide jobs to the students. The average starting salary of a Mechanical Engineer is around Rs. 4 LPA and the highest salary would be Rs. 8 LPA. Most engineers go for further studies in other colleges, either masters or MBA since the salaries aren't up to the mark. The placement rate would be just 30%. The mechanical eng...
Placements: Placements at the Nirma University are quite interesting as good companies are always looking for candidates from Nirma University as it has earned that level of reputation. For Institute of Science, placement oriented workshops and training are provided as they matter much, if one wants to be in a good company. Good companies offer various job profiles, but once you are selected, your chances for opting other profile are finished. These are according to the rules of the placement committee. So,...
Placements: As of now, only one batch is placed, wherein the highest was about 10 LPA. The lowest was about 6 LPA, and the average was about 8 LPA. (All figures per annum). There is a placement cell which is very helpful with the internships they offer. They give good opportunities for industry exposure.
Placements: There is a placement committee which helps people get through internships. But, if you want bigger and better internships, you'd need to find it yourself. Talking about placements, all the seniors are mostly placed at local companies. A few of them are placed at well-known firms.
Placements: The placement at our college is structured and planned. The batch of 2017 witnessed a good placement. The average package was around 5 LPA, and the highest was 16 LPA. Around, 50% of the students got the college assisted internship, and the rest managed on their own.
Placements: The placement provided by ILNU are about 4 to 5 LPA on an average. This year many got placed in different law firms. The highest package last year was about 16 LPA. I only know about Wadia Gandhi who visited the campus through much more might have come. Many students get an internship through our placement cell, and they are Somewhat useful.
Placements: One of the best colleges of Gujarat and has a great history as well so no worries about the placements. Here, most of the branches have the 100% placement. However, CS and chemical branches are most renowned for this college, and one need not worry about the placements in these branches.
Placements: In civil engineering, the placement is very less in the college, but in other branches, i.e. IT/computer engineering, mechanical engineering there are many opportunities and around 65-75 % placements are available for the students. For electrical engineering, the placements are average, and in electronics and communication engineering 40% rate of placements are provided by the college.
Placements: The placements are decent, and it all depends on the student and his ability to get a job. It gets to a good student, whose CV is good. If not on-campus, a student can go for off-campus placements, which is not a worrying subject, if the students believe in themselves.
Placements: If we consider overall placements of all branches, then it is good, but if I tell only about my branch, then it is bad. The placements offered in civil engineering is bad. Last year, only ten students got placed from the civil and that ten also in IT sector, not in the core. Only 1 core company came last year. Around, 5-6% of the students get placed. In civil RK infrastructure has come. But in IT sector many companies came like Intel, TCS, Wipro, etc. In our college, the 8th-semester is full of...
Placements: The placements could be better, considering the reputation that Nirma has. Every year there are the same companies that visit the campus with an average package of 3.5 to 4 LPA. There are very few core companies that visit for technical roles. To be fair, the placement scene is better than most colleges in Gujarat, and a student is placed if he is serious about it. The only concern is the low number of tie-ups with industries to allow the students for better prospects.
Placements: The placement cell is not efficient as few companies visit the campus. Less than five students were placed in the previous year which is low. The average salary offered is 5 lacs per annum, and the highest goes up to 7 lacs per annum. However, the students must find jobs on their own.
Placements: In 2017, the placements in the mechanical department saw an increase in terms of no. of companies who visited the campus, though the average package remained the same which is around Rs. 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. The highest package was offered by MuSigma considering the package of Rs. 21 lakhs for 3 years which has its own terms and considerations. There has been a constant push from the management to allow more companies to visit their campus. Our batch saw a thorough mix of manufacturing, des...
Placements: We have a good placement record. Average CTC offered was 8 LPA. We have top companies like HUL, JP Morgan etc. visiting our campus regularly for the summer internship and final placements. Pre-placement offers are also made for outperforming students. Major recruiters are from BFSI and FMCG.
Placements: The placements are not up to the mark for civil placement, but if your pointers are too good and you are fulfilling the company's criteria, i.e. every company sets its own criteria for placement purpose, then placement is of course available. The placements in many civil or non-civil companies are also there. If you are really good at knowledge and pointers are also good, you can easily placed here.
Placements: The placement of computer engineering has been phenomenal over the years. Almost, 100% of the students sitting for the job has got one. The highest package this year was almost 22 LPA. The internship opportunities are amazing as the companies like Morgan-Stanley and Amazon came and hired the students. Apart from these giants in the field of computers, many startups and the local IT firms gave the internships and the jobs.
Placements: Since I am studying in the 6th semester, the companies visited the campus to hire interns from our batch and the jobs for our seniors. The highest intern placement was by Goldman Sachs with stipend Rs, 80,000 per month. The highest package for a full-time job was 18 lacs per annum. The average salary offered is 3-4 lacs per annum, which is by TCS and Infosys. There is a hard working placement cell in our college, and we call it the III cell. It is efficient, and the placements are good.
Placements: The placements offered in the civil branch are not good compared to the EC and CE as this can be seen in all the colleges. But compared to the surrounding colleges it is good. The placement cell comes into picture only during the final year, but it would be extremely good if the placement cell manages some internship for the students.
Placements: The placement is very good. The average placement amount offered in chemical engineering is Rs. 5.6 lakhs. The placement offer depends on the criterion such as PPI must be greater than 7.5, no backlogs and no other non-disciplinary activities must be performed, the placements are also effective on the extracurricular activities like robotics e-baja, m-baja.
Placements: The placements at Nirma are good. Almost 75-85% of the students get placed in the department's like the computer, IT, EC, electrical, but the percentage of good jobs are offered quite less, and most of the students get to mass hiring companies. If you have potential and pointers, you would definitely have high chances to make it to good company. As good companies like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Nvidia do visit our campus.
