A good private engineering institute with decent placements.

Placements: Out of 120 students, about 60 students of 2013-17 EC batch got placements. That’s a slight improvement from the previous batch. So placement wise, EC in ITNU is a decent option compared to other colleges in Gujarat for EC branch. The highest salary offered was about 12 LPA by Nividea. The average salary is about 3-4 LPA. Many of the core EC companies that recruit are local companies, and they don’t offer big salaries.

One of the most prestigious institutes indeed!

Placements: I have learned that placements are good in our college, having near to 85% ratio for CE, EEE, ECE branches. Other branches too have decent placement ratio. Along with that, good companies are coming every year and recruiting students that are not particularly of a single branch.

A review of the electrical branch in the IT-Nirma University.

Placements: The placements are average in electrical branch. Most of the students got placed by the mass recruiters. A few do get the good companies, and a few aspire for the further studies, so they don't sit in the interview. There is a scope for the improvement in the placement, but the university doesn't take a step for improving it.

t is a college with a brilliant infrastructure, but lags in its faculty and curriculum.

Placements: The placement in the college is average in its level and its scale. There are unsatisfactory results as far as the placements are concerned. Almost, 80 percent of the students were placed in the reputed companies. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 15 lakhs and the lowest was Rs. 3 lakhs, while the average was about Rs. 5 lakhs. The roles varied from the investment banker to the marketing assistant and much more. All the students got an internship from the college and the stipend varying ...

Review of Institute of Technology, Nirma University.

Placements: Overall, the placements in our college are good. Most of the students get placed with decent salary packages. The average salary package offered varies from branch to branch. For computer science and mechanical, the average salary offered is high, with some of the best-recruiting companies, including Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, SAP, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai etc. For 2017, EC placements were quite good, with recruiters such as Nvidia, NXP etc. For other branches, the average salary offered was...

Amazing infrastructure, good placements and great faculty.

Placements: Nirma offers amazing placements, and the placements have got a big boost after the appointment of the new placement coordinator. During my year, we could see some new companies like Hyundai, Suzuki and Adani on campus and the previous recruiters also maintained their numbers. The roles offered were core engineering roles, very relevant to the student profile.

Being part of first batch, I can't really be sure

Placements: I am a part of the first batch of the programme and the placement procedure is still going on. However, the trend has been observed that companies prefer full-time students more. Several companies are upfront that they will just recruit students of full-time.

If you don't get IIT or NIT, then Nirma is the best option for you

Placements: The scenario of placement is different for different branches. The CS and IT branches have the best placements with major companies like Amazon(16 lakhs CTC), Goldman Sachs (22 LPA), Morgan Stanley (16 LPA), Mu Sigma (8 LPA), Deloitte and SAP Labs, followed by mass recruiters TCS, Cognizant and Infosys (3.5 LPA each). Then comes the EC branch in terms of placements. The major companies visiting the campus for recruitments are NXP Semiconductors, Analog Devices, Freescale Semi, NVIDIA, Intel and ...

Placements: The result is declared soon and placements are also good. The exams are conducted timely and also because of this, almost the whole batch gets placed. Linde, L&T, Honeywell, Infosys, Cognizant, Reliance, GSFC, GNFC, GAIL and HUL are some good companies that visited the campus and offered placements.

One of the best private universities in India.

Placements: The placements are good. As I am in the 3rd year, I know quite a lot about this. Recently on 10th August 2017, Nvidia came for the EC branch with a CTC of 10lakhs. Other companies for EC are Intel, NXP and Freescale Semiconductors, ARM Processors, etc. Apart from this, EC students can also sit for Amazon, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Mu Sigma and other major CS companies. Amazon just recruited 3 students with a CTC of 17 lakhs, Goldman recruited 2-3 students at 22 lakhs and Morgan- 5 f...

Review of Nirma University for Engineering.

Placements: The average package varies between 3-6 LPA. The highest is 11 LPA which is given to almost 3 or 4 students who are very meritorious and hard working. We have a 100% placement rate. With the help of IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. the college achieves 100% placement.

Good experience of MBA at IMNU.

Placements: Reputed companies visit for placement. The placement percentage is close to 100%. Most of the placement activity is managed by the student-driven committee. Students get sufficient opportunities for internships and final placements. The companies constitute a diverse portfolio from manufacturing, financial services, IT, automobile and many more.

One of the best infrastructures.

Placements: The placements are handled by a separate committee and the placement committee. The placement committee goes through a lot of pain to get the whole batch placed. Many big companies visit the campus on day 0 and take a whole lot of students with good salaries on offer. The average package turns out to be around 7-8 lakhs every year and satisfies most of the students.

A blend of values, good education and aesthetics.

Placements: Some of the good brands for marketing and finance visit the campus every year. Most of our seniors are placed in good companies. Almost 90% of our seniors are placed and efforts are made to place the remaining as well. For summer placements, most of the students got placed in startups that visited the campus. Startups give a good exposure of work to the students.

Good infrastructure with decent placements and faculty.

Placements: Decent placements. This year, the average package went down due to demonetization but I expect better placements this year based on internships. The highest was 14 lacs for work experienced people and the lowest went till 4 this time I guess. 90% + of the batch was decently placed. All the students were placed for the internship this year and the highest stipend was offered by HUL at 35000 per month.

Placements: This year, EC branch showed the best performance among all the B.Tech branches at Nirma University placements. It started with MNCs like Nvidia, Bangalore (10.61 lakhs recruiting 2 students), followed by NXP Semiconductors, Noida (11-11.6 lakhs with 8-10 students recruitment), MuSigma (8 lakh CTC for around 3 students).
