For general category students not from Uttar Pradesh, the approximate fees for the LLM programme at NLU Lucknow ranged between INR 1,50,000 to INR 2,00,000 per annum. However, these fees are subject to change and could be higher for non-reserved categories or applicants from outside Uttar Pradesh.

Out of the 2024 batch at RMLNLU, 24 students were placed successfully. In the placements, 14 students each got placed in law firms, while 4 went to corporate organizations. Further, 10 students got placed in the lawyers' chambers. The average package offered in the 2024 placements was INR 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, EY, and Bharucha & Partners. However, no data is available on the number of students placed for the LLM programme in the year 2024 in RMLNLU. 

The mode of instruction for the LLM programme at RMLNLU is full-time. In this one-year PG programme, the emphasis is on a wholesome legal education whereby theoretical inputs are blended with the practical application of the same. The curriculum is framed in a way to enables critical thinking and an in-depth understanding of various legal principles, to prepare graduates for diverse career opportunities in academia, practice, and the public sector. Continuous evaluation and interactive sessions are included for further enrichment of the learning of LLM students at RMLNLU.
