NEHU- A central university of northeast India with heavenly natural beauty.
Placements: The B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA departments have gotten placements from various companies with an average of 6 lacs and more per annum package. But don't worry, other departments will get internships. The professors here are truly very professional and will help you to become good human capital.
Infrastructure: Of course, there are labs, Wi-Fi facilities, and a central library with a three-floor building, which is the largest university library in northeast India, as it is a central library. The campus is covered with heavenly natural beauty, with a lake, a waterfall, and a mini forest.
Faculty: As we all know, central universities are best for studies, but we get fewer marks compared to state universities. The professors here are helpful and very professional, with good knowledge. They are very updated with their courses and encourage you to study well.
Other: As an economics student, I can apply for M.Com, M.A., and M.Sc. also, as economics is a field that is studied in arts, science, and commerce.

    Poor facilities are provided.
Placements: Approximately 60 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 9.5 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 lacs per annum. Few MNC companies are visiting our college. Only a few students got internships outside of college. The top roles offered is historic preservation, teaching post, etc.
Infrastructure: Better infrastructure and poor facilities are provided, like Wi-Fi with limited access, labs, libraries, etc. The classrooms are not clean. The food quality of the hostel is acceptable, medical facilities are provided in emergency situations, and sports and games are conducted every semester.
Faculty: Lectures are good, and they are well qualified with good knowledge of teaching. The teaching quality is excellent, which makes students get the idea of the subject. Our course is curriculum-relevant. Exams are easy; if we read before the exams, we can be able to pass. Passing marks are 38 marks for one subject.

The college environment is good with faculty.
Placements: 50% of the students got placement in my course. The top companies are Amazon, HSBC, HDFC, Axis, etc. Internships are not provided for all streams. Top roles completely depend on students' quality. The highest package is 5 LPA and the average package is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is too good. It has an auditorium, well-structured classrooms, a library, labs and a wi-fi system. The college has hostels, canteen, mess, medical support, sports and games for students. Hostels are safe and secure.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but their teaching quality is not that good, it is moderate. Semester exams are not difficult, it is moderate but cheating is not allowed in my college. The pass percentage is 80%. This course is curriculum-relevant.
Other: I love history that is why I chose this subject for my career.

    Good facilities are provided.
Placements: More than 78 percent of students were placed with the highest salary package of 16 lacs per annum and the lowest salary package of 3.5 lacs per annum. Many MNCs, IBM, and DELOITTE companies visited. Few students got internships in other sectors. The top roles offered are analyst, researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and facilities are provided by the college, like Wi-Fi with unlimited data, labs with advanced equipments, libraries, etc. Even the hostel facilities are good; they provide food, Wi-Fi, electricity, etc. The medical facilities are also available, and sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: Lectures are good, and they have good qualifications and knowledge in teaching. The teaching quality is excellent, which makes us understand every concept. Our course is not curriculum-relevant. Exams are a bit difficult; we have to work hard to get a good score. 50 percent of marks is required to pass semester exams.

Dissatisfied with the Vice Chancellor action.
Placements: There's 50 students in our class, with around 30% reserved for students who belong to Meghalaya as per the senior results who have just passed out; it was based on CGPA. The highest CGPA got 6.99 LPA, the lowest 5.44 LPA, and an average around 6.3 LPA. None, as far I have known. Teaching, journalism, life skills, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is a bit slow but okay, Classroom is okay, and library books are less. Hostel rooms are okay, but sometimes placement and repair of things take a lot of time, and mess is average—not good, not bad. Canteen food is very good, as they are also kind of cheap. Medical facilities are also okay. Sports are also just okay.
Faculty: Teachers are very highly qualified helpful and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality of 80% of the teachers is very good and some is just average. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it does make students industry-ready. We face great difficulties in the SEM exam. As per this year, we have to cover the syllabus of 6 months into 3 months, thereby having 3 semester exams in a year. The pass percentage of the students is around 90%.
Other: I chose History because this subject is important in doing competitive exam, The best thing about this course is that I got to know the world past my country past and even better is that with this NEP 2020 we deal more with our region, So we get to know more of our own history. Right now, the only thing we need to improve is that we need more writers and historians writing the history of our own region, whom the majority of the students didn't know happened in our religion, and in doing that, we need schemes and financial aid to help us cover the expenses. In the university, we have loads of events and festivals; the campus crowd is very lively; Wi-Fi and network connectivity are also okay; the campus surroundings are I don't think there will be another university in India as pleasant and beautiful as Nehru; and extracurricular activities are also there often.

The worst college and poor facilities are available in our college.
Placements: Few students were placed in our course. The highest package is 8 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 2.5 lakhs per annum. Few companies visited our college. Ten percent of students got internships in their sector. But the batchmates are very friendly, and the friends also help us to get placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent, but few facilities are available in our college, like Wi-Fi facilities in both the hostel and college. Labs and library are provided. Food is provided in both canteen and mess. Sports and events are conducted every year. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The lecturers are qualified and have good knowledge. The teaching quality is good, and we can easily understand the concepts. Our course is curriculum. The semesters are a bit difficult, and we have to study well to pass. Forty-five percent of marks are needed to pass the semesters.
