Poor facilities are provided.
Placements: Approximately 60 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 9.5 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 lacs per annum. Few MNC companies are visiting our college. Only a few students got internships outside of college. The top roles offered is historic preservation, teaching post, etc.
Infrastructure: Better infrastructure and poor facilities are provided, like Wi-Fi with limited access, labs, libraries, etc. The classrooms are not clean. The food quality of the hostel is acceptable, medical facilities are provided in emergency situations, and sports and games are conducted every semester.
Faculty: Lectures are good, and they are well qualified with good knowledge of teaching. The teaching quality is excellent, which makes students get the idea of the subject. Our course is curriculum-relevant. Exams are easy; if we read before the exams, we can be able to pass. Passing marks are 38 marks for one subject.

Dissatisfied with the Vice Chancellor action.
Placements: There's 50 students in our class, with around 30% reserved for students who belong to Meghalaya as per the senior results who have just passed out; it was based on CGPA. The highest CGPA got 6.99 LPA, the lowest 5.44 LPA, and an average around 6.3 LPA. None, as far I have known. Teaching, journalism, life skills, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is a bit slow but okay, Classroom is okay, and library books are less. Hostel rooms are okay, but sometimes placement and repair of things take a lot of time, and mess is average—not good, not bad. Canteen food is very good, as they are also kind of cheap. Medical facilities are also okay. Sports are also just okay.
Faculty: Teachers are very highly qualified helpful and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality of 80% of the teachers is very good and some is just average. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it does make students industry-ready. We face great difficulties in the SEM exam. As per this year, we have to cover the syllabus of 6 months into 3 months, thereby having 3 semester exams in a year. The pass percentage of the students is around 90%.
Other: I chose History because this subject is important in doing competitive exam, The best thing about this course is that I got to know the world past my country past and even better is that with this NEP 2020 we deal more with our region, So we get to know more of our own history. Right now, the only thing we need to improve is that we need more writers and historians writing the history of our own region, whom the majority of the students didn't know happened in our religion, and in doing that, we need schemes and financial aid to help us cover the expenses. In the university, we have loads of events and festivals; the campus crowd is very lively; Wi-Fi and network connectivity are also okay; the campus surroundings are I don't think there will be another university in India as pleasant and beautiful as Nehru; and extracurricular activities are also there often.

The college environment is good with faculty.
Placements: 50% of the students got placement in my course. The top companies are Amazon, HSBC, HDFC, Axis, etc. Internships are not provided for all streams. Top roles completely depend on students' quality. The highest package is 5 LPA and the average package is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is too good. It has an auditorium, well-structured classrooms, a library, labs and a wi-fi system. The college has hostels, canteen, mess, medical support, sports and games for students. Hostels are safe and secure.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but their teaching quality is not that good, it is moderate. Semester exams are not difficult, it is moderate but cheating is not allowed in my college. The pass percentage is 80%. This course is curriculum-relevant.
Other: I love history that is why I chose this subject for my career.

Faculty members are very kind in teaching.
Placements: Placements are good with a medium salary package of 7 lakhs per annum in recruiting companies like Dalmia Cement, etc. More than 40 students got internships in our college with 14 lakhs per annum. The top roles offered in our course are archaeologist, journalism, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-designed with separate blocks for different departments. Labs are provided, classrooms are well-cleaned, and the library offers subject-related books. Food is available in our hostel, and they provide a medical kit in emergency situations. Sports and cultural activities are conducted every semester.
Faculty: Faculty members have good qualifications and knowledge, and the teaching quality is also good. Our course curriculum is not difficult. Even the semesters are easy to pass because my previous course related to the history of social. Forty-five percent is enough to pass the semester in our college.

The teachers are highly qualified.
Placements: The placement is good in the college. The placement percentage is 75%, and the students are placed in the course. The college offers students research opportunities; they can research, and they are given internship opportunities. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA, and the average 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: In the college, full facilities are available. There are common amenities like Wi-Fi and AC, well-equipped labs, and libraries. The classrooms are modern, with projectors, and hostel and canteen facilities are provided. The quality of food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable; they can solve students' doubts. They are highly qualified, and the course curriculum is well-decorated. The teaching experience is really nice, and the semester exams are challenging but fair, with a pass percentage above 85%.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Hello Arun, Like any other University, NEHU also conducts entrance exam for admissions in MA in different subjects. The syllabus of this exam is invariably the same as that for graduation. As you must have done graduation in history, it should not be a problem for you to clear this entrance exam.
