Overall Experience Was Best of My Knowledge: Great Campus Life and Very Good Environment.

Faculty: The teachers in our department are very helpful and qualified, with all of them holding doctorates in their subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and provides various industrial training opportunities for students. They plan trips to visit nearby industries for training. We have exams in one semester, including mid-semester and end-semester assessments. The semester exams are quite tough, requiring a minimum score of 35% to pass.

More or less, the college is great.

Faculty: Faculty members are also good. The teaching quality is also good; we have specialized labs and lab attendees for every subject. In the farm machinery domain, we are industry-ready, but due to the scarcity of faculty in the food domain, we have less knowledge.

Life at NERIST, Arunachal Pradesh.

Faculty: Some old teachers are very good and helpful but most of them are retiring and no new faculty members are being recruited. Research scholars take classes but they are not that efficient and inexperienced. The curriculum is mostly relevant, with some unusual things. Exams are conducted with the utmost seriousness.

These faculty members hold degrees from reputed institutions and often have industry experience as well. They have many extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, and others. Review of North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST).

Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is similar to that of other famous institutes like IITs and NITs. A CGPA of 6.5 is required to pass. Almost 75% of attendance is required to be eligible for semester exams.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities and is the best place for socialising.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They always help us with our studies. Our institute is a deemed university, and it is easy and convenient to get from our respective course coordinators regarding subject and exam matters. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, as it is well-prepared by UGC. Semester exams are moderate. Students can pass if they study a few days before exams. The pass percentage is 90%.

Honest review of NERIST in 2022.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified in NERIST, most of them come from other states of the country as well. Teachers are well-trained in IITs and NITs of the country. But, one of the major problems of the institutes teaching curriculum is that Ph.D. students are given the job to teach the students, which makes it bad for the students. Because Ph.D. students are not keen to teach the students for free. This is the only problem that the institute has for a long time. Apart from that all courses are good an...

There is value for money, and it is a central university in the Himalayas.

Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified and very helpful. You just have to ask them anything after class. They also conduct doubts clearing sessions on Sunday. Attendance is compulsory. Semester exams are very good and neither very tough nor very easy. You have to study, and there is no other way.

I suggest you search for better colleges and keep it as the last option.

Faculty: Except for some faculty members, none of the others is good. Some faculty members even don't know the fundamentals and are quite arrogant. However, lab staff members are good. The semester exams are good. Some faculty members have maintained the standard well. Only for them, the department is still thriving.

This college is value for money.

Faculty: Like any other central government institution, our college also had very qualified teachers. They were helpful and depends on circumstances. The teaching quality was good. College courses were always revamped so it was relevant. Semester exams were difficult, students will feel the heat once they were in.
