Amazing opportunities may it be academic as well as non-academic.
Placements: Inspite of being a new course, the BA (hons. ) in Finance and Entrepreneurship provides an environment of inclusive learning. Many of the students who take up this course are aspirational to start their own venture someday and till that time the placements offered at JSBF help to gain industry insights and have a platter of work experience like no other. Having industrial connections allows the school of JSBF to not only place one in a good firm but also secure a good culture of inviting industry leaders to sessions and talks on campus. This allows us to take the opportunity to connect with such leaders and build a network which is phenomenal.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at JSBF allows its students to embrace the culture at JSBF. They try their best to help with anything the student requires which makes it a student-centric approach. The sports grounds and arena allow us to stay fit and spend time with our friends in a fun and energetic way. Having a gym also allows us to stay toned and meet our goals as well. The library is one such place where most of us sit down and study case we believe we reach our best concentration levels here. It also provides us with the best of books and resources.
Faculty: The faculty at JSBF knows exactly what they are doing. The courses taught are always followed by practical examples and implementation which allows us students to understand topics much faster and easier. As long as you can understand the topics in classrooms studying for the end-term exams is not at all a task. The exams test students to the limit they need to be tested and at the same time don't add any burden onto them while they prepare. This allows us students to maintain our GPA and be prepared with concepts that the various industries we get into may require.
Other: The college life that everyone speaks about is truly embraced because of the various fest and events at college which take place every other week or weekend. Thus keeping us busy as well as entertaining during our free time.

Review of Jindal School of Banking and Finance, O.P. Jindal Global University.
Placements: We are the second batch of our course. Our alumni from other courses got great placement offers post from three years in our college. The office of career services ensures that students across all batches get good internship offers through the summer and winter breaks. Many of these internship opportunities have some good stipends.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. All classrooms have been well-equipped to have physical and online lectures at ease. The food served in the mess is good. They provide a variety of food items.
Faculty: All faculty members are young and vibrant. They provide a lot of real-world and industrial knowledge to students. They are interactive. Every student is assigned a mentor. They serve as a source of help throughout the course.

Jindal School of Banking and Finance .
Placements: Currently, we have had only 2 batches of placements completed. The top recruiter was D. E. Shaw with a package of 21 Lacs but other were relatively lower keeping in mind industry standards. However, we are waiting for our course's seniors to be placed to get a clearer idea.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is fabulous. Everything is taken care of in terms of hospitality, food and extra curricular. There are tons of sports and activities to participate in. As for the course, the course and electives are well structured and up to mark. One has to make sure of the friends they make.
Faculty: Majority of the faculty is helpful and understanding. They will assist you with any doubt you have. The course is highly relevant in today's age and covers broad topics. It is a mix of practical and theoretical work. The semester exams are relatively moderate once the internals are well taken care off.
Other: In terms of the skills and abilities you learn, the place is a value for money given that you participate and engage instead of sitting around all day. The crowd is a mix and one needs to choose wisely.

You will have a good party life but placements will happen because of good network.
Placements: Top companies like Indian Express, the quint, etc. come here for recruiting students but these all are unpaid internships. Very few students get them. Top roles are mostly related to editorial stuff along with video editing and PR.
Infrastructure: Mess food feels good at first but eventually it becomes repetitive. It's the same kind of masala used in every sabzi. JGU health centre is free for students and there's also physiotherapy. The Wi-Fi quality at Jindal is bad. Library is most of the times crowded.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. The course structure of Journalism school is highly focused on writing. Most of the subject is writing apart from the TV and radio courses. Those are the most difficult subject as well. Teaching quality is not that great because although most professors have their fancy degrees but many of them don't know how to teach.
Other: The events on campus are not that great as they used to be before the pandemic. Although, we did have Anuv Jain as our guest in dj nights.

My journey at JSES has been amazing so far. Choosing JSES was one of the best decisions of my life.
Placements: We will have some of the best placements with the best exposure. Corporates and international and national NGOs are part of the deal.
Infrastructure: Jindal is known for its infrastructure and ambiance. One can easily find anything and everything to have a great college life. From a 24*7 reading room to a global library, from the canteen to 24*7 medical services, from amazing classrooms to all the sports facilities, from the mess to the food court, Jindal has it all.
Faculty: The B.A. in Environmental Studies is India's first interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary course. The Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) provides the perfect blend of highly experienced faculty and a carefully designed curriculum to cater to the current needs of society. The student to teacher ratio here is good, unlike other schools and colleges.
Other: Everyone at Jindal will have numerous opportunities to grow and learn. The different clubs, societies, and events will be enough to exploit your talents and keep you busy. An environmental course is the need of the hour. This is the perfect course if you are looking forward to having a career in sustainability.

B.A. (Hons.) in Liberal Arts and Humanities - Batch of 2023
Offered by Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, O.P. Jindal Global University

Absolutely amazing experience for the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities.
Placements: I am currently enrolled in the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities as a second-year student majoring in Psychology. The placement opportunities provided by OP Jindal University are vast and constructive. The JGU Office of Career Services organises multiple internship fairs throughout the academic year and even placement fairs for graduating batches, with opportunities from companies, firms, think-tanks etc. Like Amazon, Airtel, Pratham, Indus Law, Kotak life insurance, Argus Partners, Economic Law practice, Law consult, etc. I have interned with two mental health institutions and a think tank over just two years.
Infrastructure: The campus life at O. P. Jindal university is simply amazing. There are separate housing blocks for boys and girls with 3 or 4 sharing rooms. The rooms are furnished with beds, study tables, side tables, cupboards, chairs, dustbins, etc. , and facilities like all-weather air conditioners, fans, tube lights, study lamps, balconies, Wi-Fi, and attached bathrooms etc. Each student housing has a common room with a pool table, carrom, television, chess, sofas, etc. And a reading room with computers. The academic block is divided into four towers and has 24*7 Wi-Fi access, camera and microphone-equipped classrooms, girls, boys and gender-neutral washrooms, a mess on each floor, a 24 hours accessible global library, common reading rooms, computer labs, and common rooms for rejuvenation, vending machines, etc. Apart from the various cuisines available at the mess, there is a food court with food joints like Moti mahal, Chicago pizza, Subway, Bercos, etc. And other small outlets and hangout places like chain tapri, ever fresh, juice and more, etc. Additionally, the campus has facilities like gymnasiums, a salon, an outdoor swimming pool, football fields, badminton courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, table tennis tables, foosball tables, pool tables, a hockey field, several ATMs, a parents lounge, documentation and printing labs, physiotherapy centres, a centre for wellness and counselling services, a 24*7 open chemist, and a health centre. The surroundings are fully landscaped with lawns, bushes, and trees.
Faculty: Talking about Liberal Arts and Humanities course, the faculty is highly qualified, coming from different backgrounds and regions (Eg: Japan, the USA, Germany, India,. They carefully guide students throughout the course and with the one-on-one mentoring programme, students get focused guidance from professors about any and everything. Be it online or offline, the professors make sure to engage students with lessons centred around student-led discussions and interactive presentations. The course is structured in a way that enables you to learn different humanities courses for three semesters, including an interdisciplinary seminar course that focuses on developing crucial skills for studying liberal arts. Students choose their specialisation in the fourth semester with an option to create their own major by integrating subjects and studying courses as electives from different disciplines. The courses are based on gaining practical experiential knowledge in addition to the relevant theoretical information and prepare the students for all kinds of future opportunities. The assessment is based on research-based assignments including essays, presentations, video/podcast making, quizzes, etc.
Other: I chose to go for liberal arts because after high school I was unsure what to specialise in. Additionally, I wanted to gain more knowledge about the available humanities fields and then decide on my specialisation. The liberal arts and humanities course gave me the expected exposure and helped me gain clarity. There are many student-led clubs and societies including theatre society, dance society, music society, queer collective, disability inclusion society, literary and fine arts society, history club, etc. Some of the major fests of Jindal are Biswamil (the fall semester fest), Magnus (the spring semester sports fest), Cammus (the theatre society fest), Masquerade ball and prom, Halloween party, etc. Celebration of festivals like Holi, Diwali, Christmas, etc. Is a lively and joyous moment on campus where students come together and celebrate. Scholarships of two kinds are available - Financial and merit-based. The campus offers facilities like wheelchairs, ambulances, carts, and shuttle services for anyone in need.
