Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, transport and other services.

Placements: About 70% student got placement in various private company and others are preparing for government and competitive exams. The highest average package was something around 7-8 lacs and the lowest was 5 lacs annually. Most of the teachers are very helpful. Some of them were strict but you can assure help from other teachers of same department. Agriculture is making 60% GDP of entire nation. I don't think you shouldn't have any doubt regarding placement point of view etc.

It is a good college with good placement rate, good infrastructure and teachers.

Placements: The placement rate is good. If you pass from this university, there are high chances of getting a government job. Many of them opted to prepare for the civil services examination too. The college guarantees 90% placements.

I would recommend this college in terms of placements and teaching facilities.

Placements: This year our seniors have done a good result. About 10 of our seniors got selected in renowned management institutes such as IRMA and XIMB. The highest salary package offered is 12.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 10.5 LPA. Some students have cleared JRF examination and got PG seats in good institutes.

It is one of the best colleges in Odisha for teaching and placements.

Placements: Almost 50 to 60% of the students got placed last year. Companies like TCS, Capgemini and many startups come for placements. The highest salary package offered in the last year was 7 LPA. Almost 50 to 60% of the students got internships and also full time in those companies.

It is only government agricultural engineering college in our state.

Placements: Around 60% to 70% of the students from our course got placed. The rest of the students are planning to opt for higher studies. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Tractor manufacturing companies like Sonalika, Mahindra, etc., and NGOs like Pradan, etc., and other companies like pesticides or seed companies visit our college for placements. Course and branch are very good, but it needs some improvisation.

Placements: I have passed out in the year 2019, but there are no government posts for us. The government do not create posts on a regular basis. It felt like 5 years of study, and hard work was in vain. As compared to other states, our recruitment process is very low.

I am absolutely satisfied with the study environment, which makes students study-oriented.

Placements: About 85% of the students got placed from this college. The salary package of 3 LPA to 25 LPA is offered from different sectors. DuPont, Syngenta, Pesticide India, Dhanuka, Nagarjun and Bayer are most recruiting companies for our course. The top roles offered in our course are AAO, AHO, bank SO. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered 1 crore per annum. About 85% of the students from our course got internships.

This can be a really good institute and course if practical approaches are taken into account.

Placements: Unfortunately we don't have any internship or placement facility in our campus. Some of the students are opting for the private companies and NGOs after passing out. We need placement facilities or atleast the internship from our higher authority to improve our skills.

Various agrochemicals and biotech company mainly recruit our students. Mainly the role offered will be as an agriculture officer or any administrative officer in the agriculture department. I am satisfied with the course curriculum.

Placements: The college didn't provide placements during our graduation, so students apply for government jobs after completion of their graduation. The highest and the lowest salary packages are not offered, and IIFCO and Pradan were the top recruiters for post-graduation students. Internships are not available here.

Placements: OUAT students were more oriented towards the civil service and banking sector jobs. Nowadays degree from OUAT not a privilege for that job. Senior students also placements with a salary of more than Rs. 30,000. More than 9 students got internships from college.

Placements: As a government organisation, I didn't receive more placement from the college. Students have to follow up with the companies. Placement section in OUAT is not good. However, students can have a career from here, and they will place you in a good company.

It is the best Agriculture University in the state.

Placements: Many microbiology related companies like Bisleri, etc., visit our campus for placements. PhD students of our college are also offered in many institutions as lecturers and also as researchers. For further research, the university also provides funds to help its next outcomes.

I am dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: College does not provide placements for our course because all placements are for B.Sc. agriculture students and not for other graduates. The college mentions placement in the prospectus in the time of admission, but maximum placements are only for agriculture students and most important there is no placement officer for our department.

The college has a good infrastructure, but there was a lack of faculty and laboratory facility.

Placements: None of the companies visits the campus for placements. However, students were engaged in different bank jobs and state government jobs. But still, many students were unemployed and pursuing their higher studies like PhD. There was scope, but the extension work and dissemination of awareness was lacking. There may also some scope for research work, but the government was not interested in it.

Placements: There was no scope for placement. But only a few health centers comes for selection of student for dietitian post. And they give a minimum salary of INR 10,000 per month. But now the teaching faculties and Dean are also trying to improve placement cell. The college also provides internship for the students.
