Our college is excelling at a high pace and will achieve success very soon.

Placements: Very few companies had visited our college to conduct placement drives for the students of our batch. They also offered very low salary packages, so students were not interested in placement drives. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. NGOs and companies like Adventz Group had visited our college for placements. They mainly offered roles in the marketing domain.

I am reasonably satisfied with the course due to its academic focus.

Placements: Approximately 30–40 percent of students secure placements each year, with a higher representation of male students. The average package is around 40k per month, and the highest reaches 24-36 LPA. Prominent recruiting companies include Amul, Nahep, and others. A substantial percentage, around 70–80 percent, of students secure internships in management and entrepreneurship with companies like Nahep, Amul, and Agritech. The course curriculum covers a diverse range of subjects, encompassing engineer...

Review of Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Placements in college are not much satisfactory. Mainly fertilisers and allied sector companies visit our college to recruit students and offer a salary of Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month. We have an experiential learning program and internship program in the fourth semester.

Agriculture is good but recruitment most be increase.

Placements: 45 percent of students were placed in our course. 70000 is the highest, 40000 is the lowest and average package offered in our course. Most of the students recruited at our college no companies came forward for campus since 9 years, no students did internship at any companies because due to lack of placements most students are trying for competitive exams like railway, Bank sector and NDA etc.

It is the oldest university in the state.

Placements: Job opportunity is less in our course. Placements are not good in our college. Roles like assistant agriculture officer, assistant horticulture officer, and soil conservation officer are offered to the students. You can also prepare for UPSC and State PCS.

Review of OUAT - Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.

Placements: Not many students got placed particularly on the campus. Actually, the number of placements depends upon the vacancy and the number of posts available at the government level. But, many tractor companies come to recruit students. Companies like Pradhan, Escorts, Agrimach and Mahindra visit our campus to recruit students with an average salary package of 6.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Our college internships are not up to the ...

Overall, our college is good.

Placements: Placements are provided occasionally here, and mostly they are provided in private companies. The salary offered here varies from Rs. 30,000 to 50,000 per month. Internships are also provided very less in number. There is no placement cell, which is very disappointing. Government jobs provided are very less for agriculture students. There are no such government roles for students from the last two-three years. The government of Odisha is not taking actions towards placements. Many private colleg...

I am satisfied with its teaching.

Placements: Placements for the batch are not impressive. Mainly 5-10% of the students opt for placements. The average salary offered to students is Rs. 15,000-17,000 per month. Companies that visited our campus are Nagarjuna, PPL, etc. Placement cell is not that effective. There is not much involvement of students in the placement cell. Students mainly wish to join government jobs like AAOs, AHOs, etc.

I'm satisfied with teachers, infrastructure, extracurricular activities but dissatisfied with food.

Placements: Placements are not that good. Some students get placed in various NGO companies. Most of the students prepare for higher studies like MBA, PG, JRF, BHU, etc. Some of them also prepare for banking and civil services. Most of the students don't get a job immediately after the completion of graduation.

Good college and hostel infra, excellent facilities in transport.

Placements: College has good placement record. Mostly fertilizer company, NGOs come regularly. Monthly salary around Rs 30000. Companies like PPL and 3 more companies came last year. Job mostly marketing related. Posting may be outside state. Students mostly prefer doing post graduate studies. If one is solely interested in company job he/she can get it.
