Placements: Around 60 students were there in my course and no placements were provided by the college. Though internship opportunity was provided for 1 month in the district court under the advocate assigned by the university itself. I learned a little of court proceedings.
Placements: Around 90% of the students usually get placed, with the highest package reaching up to 10 lakh per annum and the minimum being at least 5 lakh per annum. Firms like Kahitan and Khaitan frequently visit the university for placements. Approximately 80% of my seniors from the course got placed, with the top role offered being Associate.
Placements: Last year more than 35% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is about 15 LPA, the lowest is around 4 LPA, and the average is 6 to 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Aaj Tak, The Times of India etc. We have a good placement and internship cell at our college.
Placements: I am not sure of exact percentage but yes, a student has to find out good opening himself/ herself. The college does have a career cell that is working robustly for internships and placements. However the institute has a prominent place in selection of students for judiciary exam.
Placements: 60 percent placement in reputed companies with good packages. There is a guarantee that people with skills and initiative will get placement. Most of the students get good packages ranging in lakhs, and others do crack a number of exams like judiciary and UPSC.
Placements: Our college did not have a placement cell when we got our admissions, and mostly their approach is preparing students for litigation or government exams. Our college offers a one-month compulsory internship in the final year and optional internships during summer break, but they place you with quality advocates of the high court.
Placements: Placements are average. Most placements are set to high court law firms. Some lawyers from other states select applicants for their firms. The college does not give much attention to placements. They prefer to prepare the children for the judiciary.
Placements: About 5-7% of students got placed, which is not up to the mark. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Very few students got internships in companies. Roles are offered in judiciary, arbitration, etc.
Placements: Around 10 - 20% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top role offered is a legal officer. Top recruiting companies are government and non-governmental organisations. Almost 60% of students got internships in high courts and district courts.
Placements: This college does not provide placement, but recently a placement cell has been created. Everyone wants to prefer those colleges which give placement. This institute lack in this respect. So, if you have to choose between campus and regional center prefer the regional center.
Placements: The placement rate is quite good here. About 83 students got placed out of 100 students (83%) with the highest salary package of 4.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Last year, about 65 students out of 90 students or about 72.2% of students got placed with the highest package of 4.5 LPA.
Placements: There was no placement culture here but nowadays career development cell has been reactivated and is providing us with ample opportunities to intern and enhance our skills and improve our CVs. In two to three years, we are expecting legal firms to do placement drives.
Placements: The career development cell of UILS deals with placement offers and internships. The aim of the career development cell of the university has always been to provide a conducive environment for the all-round professional growth of students by providing them with the best internship opportunities, skill development sessions and placement opportunities with consultancy firms, renowned law firms and litigation chambers based in Delhi and Chandigarh. In the year 2020, CDC was successful in securing i...
Placements: Very less students got placed. Companies from the Chandigarh as well as from other cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, also come for placements. Very established law firms of Chandigarh and big companies of Delhi take part in the placement process. It takes place every year.
Placements: Placements are not that effective here. KPMG company visited last year and this year too and offered Rs. 35,000 per month. Around 8 students got selected this time. There is a placement cell which became functional recently. Placement cell is helpful, but still, you will need better placement offers.
Placements: Placements for our batch and our senior batch are low because students are interested in pursuing PCS (J) and other executive competitive exams. Another reason is that the curriculum is not corporate sector-oriented. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 45,000 per month. Mostly roles of legal researchers were offered by companies. There is a placement cell, which has become active from this year only. Fortunately, they invited many companies to the campus.
Placements: Maximum of the students got placements in reputed companies. The college also provides internships. There is a special placement cell only for law students. The degree is affiliated to Panjab University. Every year, many multinational companies visit our college.
Placements: The college did provide some placements as after pursuing law, most of the strength goes for practice or judicial examination. From our batch, 5 students got placed. Nearly 5 law firms visited the campus. Students were offered the roles as a junior representative, legal researcher, etc. The stipend offered was not much. You have to be on your own to earn knowledge and gain experience, to learn new things during the internship. Some students get nearly about Rs. 3000-5000, where some are not even...
Placements: There is less scope for on-campus placements until now. However, the department is working on the placement cell. However, you have many opportunities to enhance your CV for any job in the corporate sector through individual placements. Currently, there are hardly any placements from the department itself. The best college for the judicial service preparation.
Placements: The placement cell is not very active here. Most of the students in UILS prefers for litigation and for civil services, rather than opting for different firms. The college is very clear on its agendas and does not fool the students on the name of placements.
