Our college provides good teaching but not jobs.

Placements: None of the companies comes to university to hire students from biotechnology. Most of them go for a masters or MBA. University has agricultural research, and it's the prime focus. Hence has good linkage to foreign universities, where most students end up. Biotechnology is a self-funded course, i.e., and you are charged more than other degrees like B.Sc, agriculture/horticulture, but not much advantage when it comes to getting placed.

Very good environment for the students who want to study nature.

Placements: B.Sc. is just a base for the higher studies. No placements are there. Pau has a good reputation worldwide which makes it easier for the students to have good admissions abroad. One can also apply for government jobs after B.Sc. . like ADO, HDO, AO etc. Many students went abroad in USA australia for higher studies.

Review of PAU - Punjab Agricultural University.

Placements: Most placements are provided in the farm sector by tractor and farm machinery manufacturers like John Deere, Mahindra Agri, Escorts, etc. Almost 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered to now is 7.5 LPA. Very few students prefer to do an internship in farm sector companies. Majority of students prefer institutes and training centre for industrial training.

Faculty is non-cooperative. No placements. You will have to setup your own business after the course

Placements: Not a single is recruiting us. If anyone gets a job by mistake then they get the highest salary upto only 10k INR. Internship is necessary in our course but hospitals charge extra fees for internship. There is no future here for average students.

The college has a good reputation but the quality of education is poor.

Placements: PAU is good university in Ludhiana but the placements offered are not that good. Only a few number of students gets the placements, others either go for higher studies or do the jobs at less salaries. The companies visiting the college are mahindra, sonalika, john deere, farm escorts etc. But for placements this college is not so good.

College is a panacea of knowledge due to well-qualified staff.

Placements: The placements, this year, are minimum till now. Mahindra has placed 3 students in farm tech. Sonalika has done the same, but the post is different. VST tractors and tillers are yet to announce the results. Other than this, the university placement is there, but the package is low.

COAET, PAU, Ludhiana - shortcomings and benefits of this government university.

Placements: To be truthful, from the last two to three years, only two students got selected from the campus placement, and the officials take few efforts in getting more placements from outside the campus. Only one company had visited the university, and they selected only two students. The rest of the students either went to study abroad or are doing jobs at a lesser salary.

The university has great infrastructure and a massive campus in center of Ludhiana city. The campus is very green even though being in an industrial city it is very clean. The campus has many facilities for various activities such as sports, music, theatre, a great library and well experienced faculty. The special feature of the university is that all the faculty is Ph.D and the campus has very renowned name not only in India but overseas as well. The fees for various programs is also very nomin...

Review of PAU - Punjab Agricultural University.

Placements: Few students were placed in this course, and the majority of students chose to continue their education. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA by John Deere. The minimum salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA.
