PAU- one of the best state agriculture university.

Placements: Only 20% of the of the students placed in our batch had an average package of 3 lacs. The top recruiting companies include Bayer and Syngenta. But most of the students prefer Masters and government job preparation, as there are many jobs for agriculture graduates. Internships were available last year on campus as well as at companies like Crop Chemical.

It is a good college for this course.

Placements: Few students got placed in our course. The top recruiting companies are Verka, Amul, IFFCO, etc. Many students got selected for research assistant jobs.

Dissatisfied with placements last year, good infrastructure and facilities .

Placements: You have to crack the entrance test for admissions in any of the courses here. Top ranks will be selected, around 40 seats for general and then reserved seats. This is a 4 year degree programme where you'll learn almost about every stream. Great scope in India as well as abroad. You are eligible for the ADO and HDO exams after this degree completion. You can also be a food inspector, soil inspection officer and many more. Also recruited by various food processing industries. Great opportunities ...

It has a good campus life, facilities but placements are decent.

Placements: On average only 30-40% of the placements are provided. Even students are not interested in placements rather they are interested in the PPSC exam. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA - 4 LPA. These placements are in agriculture industries. The internships rate is fine. Almost 60% of the students get internships.

PAU, Ludhiana is the best agricultural institute.

Placements: On-campus placements as in the case of agriculture are not much as most of the students opt for their masters in PAU and abroad after certain competitive exams. Many students are offered certain internships by ICAR. They also go for government jobs as there are many opportunities in the government sector.

It is a very good university for good future. It has good teaching staff members.

Placements: I am a student of 6th year in the agriculture department. I come to this university by passing in the entrance test after 10th, but students go direct in university after +2. Students who have 65% in matric class are allowed for the test. Everyone can do this degree.

Really a good institute, which is worth your money.

Placements: There are no on-campus placements in this University. As the name of the university is well recognised, you can get a job only after good efforts are made. Companies visit only for the students in agriculture department as that degree is under ICAR, but from past 2years, Nutrition and Dietetics have also been registered under ICAR and scope of placements is very high in future.

With PAU, everything is the best.

Placements: Regarding placements, there is a negative review. BSc Hons in nutrition & dietetics does not have any campus placements. Students do internships at various hospitals, for which they do not get any stipend, rather, the students have to pay in order to be an intern. However, the degree is good. One can always try for off-campus placements but the expected pay can only be up to 20,000 per month.

It is a good university with all the facilities for research and study.

Placements: Placement system doesn’t exist here. We actually go for the tests to get a job and for Masters like JRF, etc. Salary offered for assistant is near about 16k. In our course practical is important. No internship is there except training.

Valuable university, career oriented.

Placements: Placement percentage of university is high. With good average annual packs as the value of a degree from this university is high. There is vast scope in this field mainly becoming a nutrition other than that we can start our healthy food establishment. Even go for food scientists, health inspectors, professor and many more.
